Go to the Moped Army website and check out the photo gallery. It should give you an idea what you have.

Looks like maybe a Tomos Targa to me. See if you can find a VIN plate on the frame somewhere and that may tell you the model year. You may even be able to enter the VIN online and have it at least partially decoded for some info. If you can get it up and running well, they're pretty fun.

Tomos Targa TTLX, I believe the older a35 (?) engine. Scary I remember that.

The number you found is not your VIN. A VIN should be 17 characters long.

That could be the vin#. My 87 Derbi was only 5 digits.

I cannot find vin for the life of me if thats not the vin can some take a pic of theres for me . ryan_ott thats a great example it looks just like it. So the bike may be 27 28 years old

From 1981 on I thought vehicles were required to have a 17 digit VIN in the US. I'd expect the VIN would be on the head tube or front frame somewhere.

Yes engine is free turning it over by hand turns on the lights head and break so I suspect the Mag is still good. It's something very minor keeping it from starting I believe
