Just got my tabs and new insurance card all squared away, today's the first ride to work! 74°F, mostly cloudy, and 15mph wind from the south as i head out, then 59°F, partly cloudy, 6mph southwest wind heading home. Work is roughly 18 miles north by the backroads i take. Gonna be a speedy ride to work with that tailwind!

After a 8 month stint riding either an emoloyers 50cc Metro or 155cc SMAX delivering food, I am back riding FOR work; this time for Joe's Pizza in Hollywood. They take a 50cc two-stoke TGB Express, pull off the big box, and put an open bed (kind of like a pickup truck, lol) because the pizzas are 16" and too large for the Express's stock box. I do this every weekend--Friday and Saturday during the day. I will be riding tomorrow and Sunday.

Love that map! I haven't owned a car for more than 10 years! Year-round commuting! (sadly, due to accident, I will shortly be using ONLY a car...) That's a shame. No chance of getting back on two wheels in the future? I'm on blood thinners and can't do anything that raises the risk of head injury for SIX months......

I decided to ride the VIP 49cc scoot to work today. It's a short trip and although it's supposed to rain today it seemed like a good idea. It's finally warming up enough I can get out and ride more.

Weekend job in Hollywood...rode all over on this little 2 stroke. The pizzas are 18" so they replaced the Express's box with a 'pickup' bed of sorts.

Today I rode the 16 miles to the office that was closed so I could poke my timesheets in the letter box as they due so I get paid the end of the month and not carry my wages over till next month. Then had a pleasant drive home via the bacon butty cabin at the beach.

Does the location of a former job count? If so I did...

All the way up through August, that is! Way back when I was in Daytona, my only means of transportation was a standard 400cc kaw. There were a few nasty pop-up storms that hit me damn hard while riding. Usually carried the rain suit around, which got to be a real pain in the arse.

Yeah here in Tampa Bay the Gulf breeze hits the Atlantic breeze pretty much over Tampa and works west and it's like clockwork... every night between 4 and 7 we expect rain. Ride to work all sunny, clear skies and after lunch watch out. Some get intense as the storm clouds easily tower 60k feet high. Amazing lightning... Hmmm new stormchasing by scoot thread??

Rode the Scarabeo so I took the long way to work so the engine would warm up. Weather was great so I wore the mesh jacket. I just stepped out and it got cool. Its going to be a cold ride home. Maybe I'll take the short way home so I'll only be riding for 2 minutes.
