Latex gloves work well as it keeps the cold wind off of your hands. It's better to put then over some thin knit gloves as this helps keep the sweat off of your hands. If your hands stay in the latex with the sweat they'll get cold eventually.

You know a scooter apron helps to. My woman and I are making that a project to spend some time this tuesday. i have a blanket with windbreakerish material on one side and soft warm cotton on the other and we are going to lay it out, cut it and sew it up to shape up a nice looking black scooter apron to help me survive the 30f weather down here in vegas in the early morning. Blanket was free so all it costs is a few hours! and warm legs and midsection here we come! Topside is full face with neck gator under to help with the cold air coming under it a nice winter jacket, cotton gloves with leather gloves over them. Good luck staying warm! Dont want to get Make a section on how you and yours created the apron it should be interesting.

I wear two different gloves liners plus insulated gauntlet style gloves the mitts or gaurd are the way to go. It ain't the temps killing us its the windchill need something to cut that out.

It was 13 for my ride this morning. Neglected to double layer my gloves again, hands are still hurting almost 2 hours later. But that may be related to work since the rest of my body is aching as well. Enough to keep me from being able to sleep...
