Hey guys, I'm still here and kicking. I been working 2 jobs for the past 2 months and its kicking my ass. I don't really have time for anything but work, eat, and sleep. Just wanted to say I hope all you scootin buddies out there stay warm! I live in Virginia and my only method of transportation is my scooter. I get off work at 2 in the morning. Its supposed to be 17° tonight and 13° with light flurries tomorrow night. This will be my first encounter with temps of that magnitude. I've been riding around in low 30s and high 20s but never any teens. I usually layer up real good. I have some insulated welders gloves for my hand ... I wear a ski mask and a beenie over my head and face because I don't have a full face helmet. So, take care guys and Scoot on!!!

Bundle Up! It's colder than usual down here right now (57 degrees) and last time it was like this my scoot ran like a raped chimp! Gonna go out and see if it runs like that again!

I used to ride to work part of the winter. I would ride down to about 5 below. Bundled like an Eskimo lol. I had a windshield I wouldn't want to do it without. Hand guards would have been nice though

Grip heaters are worth every penny ($30-40 with adding a PWM for mine), or heated mitts or gloves (but they are more money). I've never found any unheated gloves that will not have me in pain within a short amount of time. I like to ride for an hour plus though, so it may not be so bad if you don't have a long ride. Glove liners are cheap and help some. I've got a pair of ski pants. I rarely wear them because I'm fat enough without adding puff padding, but those things are no joke. They do what they're intended to do and easily go on over regular clothes. I'd imagine the whole ski and snowmobile suits would be really nice.

You know a scooter apron helps to. My woman and I are making that a project to spend some time this tuesday. i have a blanket with windbreakerish material on one side and soft warm cotton on the other and we are going to lay it out, cut it and sew it up to shape up a nice looking black scooter apron to help me survive the 30f weather down here in vegas in the early morning. Blanket was free so all it costs is a few hours! and warm legs and midsection here we come! Topside is full face with neck gator under to help with the cold air coming under it a nice winter jacket, cotton gloves with leather gloves over them. Good luck staying warm! Dont want to get

I feel ya, I get off work at 7am, leave by 8 so the sun is just barely trying to rise. I've rode an approximate 6 mile trip from work in 8 degree temperature with a 15mph wind. That was rough. Any further I would not make it. Lost functionality of my fingers by the time I got home, took a long time for them to stop burning fiercely. Be safe!

I've always wanted a leather snowmobile suit for winter ridings. Snowmobile stuff is really good. I like the winter helmets with the double layer no fog face shields

Mittens as opposed to gloves help a lot.Not sure why that is but at below zero temp and a hundred mph every tip helps. But we can park and get in the van which is kept running.

I plan on getting some snowmobile pants a hoody underneath my insulated armored jacket works well and balaclava helps a ton. I need to get better gloves or maybe some scooter mitts to keep my fingers from freezing I have liners and slightly insulated waterproof gloves but under 40 they aren't enough. its finally winter in NC and got 20-30 weather all this week in morning rides to work.

I froze so bad last night coming home from work. I work 40 hours in two and a half days on the weekends. I am always heading home at like 2 am. I bought a full water proof winter suit from Costco for 60$! Has made ALL the difference. Having still been cold in it though makes me wonder how the hell I was doing it before this. Lol
