It looks like you attached the top mounting point on wrong. Just a guess.

To me it looks like it was bolted to the inside of its intended bracket.

The pic with the longer and short strut show no difference in offset or anything other than length as far as I can tell.

Did you swap 12s in place of 10s?

Are the 12" wheels wider or have a different offset?

I did something sort of like that on my old SunL to fit a 120/90-10, but I chopped the bottom of the shock off and welded it on offset in addition to the new top mount.

Fixed. Yes the 12 inch tires are wider. But it's solved now and drives so nice. I love the finAL look of it

There's a good chance of you busting that mount off the motor. You are putting stresses on it that it was never designed for. I would not risk that for anything. If you need to do it like that, then do it like Ryan did.

The speedo cables were different so I just eliminated that from the front since they aren't correct anyways. One day I will get a digital trail tech or something cheaper. Anyone got any links to a cheapo speedo

You might have to modify your cvt cover a bit (notch it out) to fit over that plate, but I don't think there'll be a problem?
