I would not run that mount like that, you are putting a lot of stress on the mount tab in a direction it's not meant too. You are actually trusting the strength of that bushing not to fall out. I would make a spacer to span the width and connect to case. Drill and tap the top of case if you don't have any other options.

Thanks sorry for posting off topic just excited bc i just got it yesterday Get a BBK and the stock cdi on a taotao is unrestricted I believe. I think the stock cdi is better than the so called "racing" ones. It's all about carb and cvt tuning. U can get some good performance gains just by doing those 2 things. Then if ur not happy, put a big bore kit in it.

On your thread where u made a bracket for the bottom of the shock did u put a bushing on the bracket? If so how did u put it on the bracket. I have a bushing from a parts scooter but idk how I would get it on a bracket

I didn't put a bushing in it. It's spaced so there is about 1mm clearance on the thru bolt and it's got a clip through the nut so it won't back off. Just use whatever size washers you need to support on the sides of the case mounting point.
If mounted rigid it won't be able to pivot.

Can't you get a rim offset spacer or a narrower tire?
