Oh thanks I'll look into that. how fast on average can they go?
Also, btw, in my state it says 50cc scooters aren't allowed to go past 30mph. Do any cops actually care? Or do they just care that it's not over 50cc? Like hell down hill my bicycle can go past 30mph.

Like hell down hill my bicycle can go past 30mph. Depends on the cop and if there is any fuss about scooters. They don't seem to care here usually, but some do. I speed all of the time, but there's one cop that I guess can't catch me when he's got his RADAR gun. He even tried speeding ahead of me one night then jumping out with his RADAR, but luckily I was on a scoot that wouldn't go much past the scooter speed limit that time. It's 30MPH here too, but I've had cops pass me in the same direction when I was doing 50+ on the shoulder before. I definitely try to slow down every time I see an officer though. I don't take for granted that they don't care. Do at your own risk. When scooter laws changed here, the speed limit for scoots was not affected. Still, cops were made aware of laws in briefings because of the new laws. After that, they were cracking down on scooters for a while so be extra careful when things like this happen. |

Wow that cop sounded like a douche bag. They really want people to get hit by faster drivers. I wonder what the penalty would be for that? They take your moped and impound it for being an "illegal" moped?
The cops where I live now seem to be cool. But idk how they will be when I move down there. They really should just have it to where as long as it's 50cc it's good to go.

Piaggio's are by far the fastest stock! They come with a 17.5mm dellorto carb and can do 50. 4poops are not even worth mentioning  |
