You covered the basics. Blueing of the clutch / bell and rapid glazing may tell you the clutch is slipping. Lots of belt dust and/or black streaks on the pulleys may point to belt slip. Have any evidence of what glazing looks like? I'm new to this. Bell looked good other than minor dust build up.

It will look smooth and shiny, sorta like glass, on the surface. I'm certain I have a pic of glazed parts somewhere... actually finding one... I'm not sure.

Mine looks maybe a little smooth other than the missing chunk, but I don't have any emery paper to take to it. 5.5g roller combo seems to be performing similar to stock 5g rollers but with lower rpm. Pretty windy and cold today to really tell, though.
