well the cool thing is it can be controlled Via USB Or Blue tooth from a smart phone or Laptop there will just be a switch to change The method of communication and I have time to Use my Visual Basic skills to develop an application for both. Its OK that you would rather use a laptop I feel they are more stable for flashing a program.

A potentiometer would make dialing in the curve very nice. Or some dip switches.

My plan was to have a potentiometer for the manual fine tuning side of things 2 dip switches one for AC-DC selection and one for a timing light LED if you where to use the permanent timing light option I might make a connector for an external LED timing light as well. Also can't forget the switch for Communication select.

Messing around with the timing light circuit and pick up coil using the tail end of the pulse.

Alrighty! Now you are talking!!Most of the race bikes have a 'deto sensor' light, that reminds the pilot to keep the light out or he'll highside in the next big sweeper when the motor locks up!!

I was just looking at some of your vids. They remind me of my yesteryear's.

I still have piles of junk but no way to utilize them.

Some of my experiments were equally bizarre and some were dangerous. I had fun though Like my user name and the info below it; "I used to make machines from parts and pieces of others." I would still be making things if my hands worked. I still have a basement electronics workshop full of wires and parts although I gave most of them away a few years ago to a teacher. I gave away my O-scope and a few meters of various sorts. The rest of my house is all a man cave with tools and machines everywhere. I hope to get a lot of it sorted out into some sort of order in the next year with some hired help. Right now I can barely feed myself I shake so bad. It won't be long before I can't feed myself. I suffer very bad from something called Essential Tremor (ET) that I inherited from both parents, the combo is severe. The disorder is progressive. Getting some medical help with my hands seems to be a lost cause although I still hope for some miracle. I used my hands for many years to make things, the loss is devastating.
