I have a gy6 100cc bbk. Ran it all day good. Tried to crank. No start checked spark. It sparks n and out at least 1 time a hour for 2 secs then nothing. Changed spark same thing. Multimeter battery it's fine ignition coil head is fine but the back is giving me problems. It's not reading right on the multimeter leading me to believe that the coil is the culprit. Check out video n let me kno what doin wrong.

That little spark is about 25,000-35,000 volts and will blow out your meter in a nano second...maybe less. I hope that I am not understanding you correctly. Bill

This was done after your post still you didn't answer question if it isn't reading should I buy high performance coil?

You appear to be trying to test the resistance of your coil, it that what you were attempting to do? (I got home and I watched the video) If you are checking to see if the coil is not a complete circuit, set your meter to the continuity setting. That coil probably has a very high resistance, maybe higher than your meter can go, I am not sure...it was hard to see the settings sometimes in the video. I am just glad you were not trying to measure voltage out of the coil with your engine running. Think about this a second Floyd...You just got your scooter back after the engine was torn all apart to fix something that was not done right the first time. Now, you ride for a day and then you have no spark? Could that just be a coincidence? Sure but, the odds are those guys screwed up something else when taking the engine apart or putting it back together. Do you still have the stock coil? Jest swap out the coils if you do and test to see if it fires up. Yes, coils can and do go bad but the timing of this makes me very suspect. If you ask them, they will tell you it is the stator. Bill

All of my weak or no spark conditions to date have been one of two things. #1 the filthy stinkin CDI. Or #2 the pickup.

You have your tester on too high of a setting(for the test you are doing), set to 200 ohms,(the setting just above the yellow off-on switch on your multimeter)
