The fact that it needs an engine rebuild 10+ times before my car needs one.

going from a scooter to a motorcycle one of my biggest pet peeves with scooters is how unconnected you feel to it and how unplanted your positioning is. you may not notice it, but once you get a on a motorcycle and have the tank sandwhiched inbetween your legs it feels like you become one with the bike, very nice feeling. The TGB has buddy pegs that are like motorcycle pegs. I did a bit of grinding and turned them so they flip up instead of back and use them. It does make "spirited" riding much more comfortable.

Lack of respect for them is a big one to me. It told me a lot about the opinion of scooters around me when they passed a helmet law and required registration ($5 each plus $10 for a title if you already owned the scoot before the law). The news was full of people talking about selling their scooters because if they had to wear a helmet and register them, they just weren't worth having. I didn't see many in the first place, but the amount indeed declined and I no longer saw Chinese scooters being sold at outrageous prices by every used car lot and lumber yard. Makes me sad that apparently very few enjoy riding them and see them solely as the next step up above a bicycle or hitchhiking.

My biggest pet peeve about my scooter is throttle feel and brake squishyness. is my throttle has a tiny bit a slack i have to adjust it, and if my brake levers feel squishy i adjust them. i guess its not so much a pet peeve as a case of OCD.

Pretty girls actually refusing a ride??? : - (
No wait...seriously...the shocks. They set em up for two but the ride is too harsh for one. Softer shocks would really smooth out the ride. I wish there were softer shocks available. I'd buy a set in a second.

Yes! sheesh, can't believe I totally gave shocks a pass...
With the current shocks and forks technology, it's horrible that manus won't allow more bleed-through from other sources... There's electronic shocks / forks, and even active suspension. sucks

The fact they look like a bug. I too hate the cheap plastic. And once you take them off once they never quite fit the same
