My pet peeve is bumpy roads. They are just not nice to 10 inch wheels.

Poor lights as standard on most scoots. Reminds me of the 6v systems we had on motorcycles in the 80's. Used to hate those little metal clips that the panels screw into on the Aerox. Taking the seat off, they would ping off never to be seen again. Not just scooters but most learner bikes have poor brakes. I guess to stop you locking up.

Haters who tell people who are considering buying a chineese scoot that "no parts are available" That is a complete lie Or maybe just an alternative fact, whatever.
They go out of their way to put down chineese scoots. Personally I think it's better for someone to start on one so they can learn the responsibility of proper maintenance. Once they have fixed leaks, adjusted valves, swapped jets and everything thing else we do, they can spend a few grand more on another scooter that is likely full of chineese parts.
Now, on the other hand WE can make fun of these scooters until the cows come home, but we have earned it.

Thanks Thomas! I have looked into Ecotrons. From reputation, they have very good quality and very reliable, but that comes with a tall price. Their price is $600 for a complete installation kit, minus the O2 sensor installation. That is for their smallest, 28mm. Perfect for a 70cc. Worth the cash? I think so, but near six times a performance carb. The price of fun! I like the idea, but personally if I wanted to play with fuel injection I'd start with an Aprilia SR50. Just to have a baseline system to experiment on.

Lack of respect from Motorcycle riders. When crusing the city streets nothing not even a nod when i wave. But on the back roads in the middle of nowhere about 80%.
Surely, you didn't get into scootering because you wanted respect from motorcycle riders?
Those that don't wave back, prolly are jerks anyway. heh. And I've never waived at a small scoot riders, but I've never noticed any of the small scoot riders wave, so... I'm a jerk

I must be a snob because I would never buy a Chinese scooter... well except the Taotao Zummer. heh.
Chinese scoot riders are buncha drunkards.

No I got into scooters because I live less the 1 Mile from home and my car was just collecting dust and sucking insurance money in my garage. It's more of a mutual respect as both scooter and Motorcycle drivers have to deal with the same dumb ass car drivers

Horn.
I could yell louder than these silly things called horns on most scoots. And motorcycles!
