All my modern stuff has side stands, but they have to go on the center to kick start. The vintage bikes, which don't have to be off the ground to kick start, don't have side stands.

I roll up to a parking spot, sounding good, looking good, park perfectly, then.. have to get off, steady the scoot and pull it up onto the center stand. Any cool points just went out the window.

Too far back. I've been looking into weld-on options. Only bolt-on for pre 12 Zumas.

Like "tiny", my wife rides with me. And she's pretty, too. I'm kinda lucky there. But she rides solo more than she rides with me. And that's just as well because we don't ride together really well. She's still pretty darned reckless. I hope she develops some sense before she gets herself killed.
I don't offer other pretty girls a ride because....well.....that'd open a pretty nasty can of worms.
But I'm off-track. Now.......pet peeves..........

Mine would be lack of aftermarket fuel injection and to make FI happen...full wave alternators & rectifiers to fit older scoots. I would rather tune from my laptop than swapping out carb brass and tinkering with needle settings. As soon as I can find a way to play with Honda PGM-FI, I will!

Lack of respect for them is a big one to me. It told me a lot about the opinion of scooters around me when they passed a helmet law and required registration ($5 each plus $10 for a title if you already owned the scoot before the law). The news was full of people talking about selling their scooters because if they had to wear a helmet and register them, they just weren't worth having. I didn't see many in the first place, but the amount indeed declined and I no longer saw Chinese scooters being sold at outrageous prices by every used car lot and lumber yard. Makes me sad that apparently very few enjoy riding them and see them solely as the next step up above a bicycle or hitchhiking. Last year they passed laws here in North Calrolina, that you needed insurance, and a tag. I don't necessarly see these as bad lows. Some clain their scooter was their only transportation, and the cost of insurance, and tag would be prohibitive. More to the point I see much fewer of them now. Cragslist is loaded with scooters being sold at low prices. Some that have been waisted in barnes, sheds, or just left outside to rot. Sad to see the loss of interest. Drivers of cars have no respect for scoots. They would run us off the road if they could get away with it.

Iv wasted 2 weeks so far going back and forth, typing the same messages over and over with questions and nothing. I call them out on their bs and they are all nicey nice and the cycle starts over again. It sucks, I'd prefer to do business in the states vs overseas with longer delivery waits, but the time iv wasted I'm better off going oversea to begin with.

Thanks Thomas! I have looked into Ecotrons. From reputation, they have very good quality and very reliable, but that comes with a tall price. Their price is $600 for a complete installation kit, minus the O2 sensor installation. That is for their smallest, 28mm. Perfect for a 70cc. Worth the cash? I think so, but near six times a performance carb. The price of fun!

Lack of respect from Motorcycle riders. When crusing the city streets nothing not even a nod when i wave. But on the back roads in the middle of nowhere about 80%.
