After a week with no word from scooter attack about why my order hadn't shipped out yet i emailed them they replied back telling me my order is 3 weeks behind on back order not to mention ill probably take 2weeks to get here from Germany i dont want to wait that long im having second thoughts anyway about the things ive read about the crank issues. Someone suggested i ask them to check the crank before mailing it to me . I asked them and they refused ..so at this point im thinking of using a different company they have too many issues and it too hard to get anything their website is hard to navigate and i cant even get anyone on the phone. Im going to send am email asking for a refund i paid with paypal hopefully it wont be too hard .
Can anyone tell me what malossi kit and which crank to go with it. The crank is what confuses me is their a crank i can put in that will work with several different kits ? Id like to be at least 86 cc or above . Can someone tell me which kit is right under the Testa Rossa? I would use that if it would last longer and didnt have the odd sized 13mm pin

Check with niz. He had a mhr kit that used a 44 crank with a 13 or 14 pin. You could use a 12 pin crank that was close with an a piston for the mhr77 to get a 12 pin piston and make it work

I didn't use the 90 but I ran the 77, 50mm bore. It ran strong.I think top speed was right around 70. That was the first airsal kit I ran but I was pleased with it. It has a vertex piston, single piece head and a odd square exhaust port flange. You may need to file which ever pipe you get to fit correctly. Some prep with oiling holes should help with longevity. I ran it for 6-700 miles then pulled it when I sold the bike. Cylinder and piston still looked pristine.

The airsal 88cc kit (which is the one I presume you are talking about - sometimes advertised as 90cc) is a strong kit over 25hp . But bear in mind, the crankshaft for it uses a piaggio 16mm spline instead of the usual 13 . so you have to use either their variator or the polini evolution 16 for it. But I wouldnt bother using it to tell the truth unless I had at least : decent vforce style reeds, intake, oversize vario/clutch , inner rotor ignition, primary and secondary gearup, decent exhaust like 2fast, reinforced crank bearings etc

I was considering doing the bigger 90cc stuff when I was preparing to get my Rx 8 running again, but after learning that I didn’t have the larger stroke of the Mexican version (qmb-a) plus not having machining tools/not willing to pay for machine work, I opted to just get plug an play parts. The money spent for a extra 20+ mph was not worth it, anything over 60+ on these machines and especially these Chinese frames is too sketchy for my liking. Have you considered a single ring high end aluminum bore from Stage-6 or Polini I believe even Athena makes one too. It will work with stock stroke size crank that will fit in your case.
