I need a new 50mm piston and 13mm wrist pin for the kit to work Yeah, that's what I was saying trying to say but I added getting a replacement jug too. The seller who sent me the wrong piston and wrist pin is, in addition to sending correct replacements, also sending out a new jug... He said to 'match' the new piston. I cleaned up the edit a bit cause it was kind of confusing.

Hah dont let what happened to me, happen to you! This is the same type of piston pictured in the ad, and mine had an aproptiately sized wrist pin. Installed it and the valves contacted the piston. If all your other bits you recieved are correct just order a new piston from someone else thats better quality. Because chances are the ebay seller will send another piston without reliefs.

Ouch. So are the reliefs the indentations on the top of the piston? Like in the stock piston, there's 2 indentations, the bigger one goes on the intake side If that is the case, the piston I was sent had only one indention on the intake side. Actually, wait. It didn't have any! Fuuuggg!

Correct those are the valve relief cuts. The piston i was sent has no cuts, but its a dished piston. Presumably for a 2t head with spark plug pointing straight in. However those pistons are also seen in 110cc pit bikes i believe.

The wrist pin that came in the kit fits the new piston it does not fit the rod so I need a new 50mm piston and 13mm wrist pin for the kit to work

All of the BBK pistons must use the same size wrist pin(gudgeon pin) as the original 39mm diameter piston. As the small end of the connecting rod is kept, and its diameter works with the 39mm piston, all others must follow suit, and use the same wrist pin. The only way to use a different size pin would be to ream or bore the small end diameter to the larger. Not something for the faint of heart, or 99.999% of us who don't have access to a machine shop. Or reamer. Could be done, but not suggested by anyone I know. Love the side clearance of a 42mm piston in a 50mm bore. Lots of lube... mebbe some blue smoke if you could get it to start. Loud clattery noises to follow as the piston bumps the cylinder walls now and again. Clattery-clattery Bang-Bang, then boom. Quiet. tom

My replacement piston, wristpin, and jug arrived. Guess what. There aren't any reliefs on it.

Yup, wrist pin is the correct size now. I wrote back the seller explaining about the reliefs. I am new to all this and if I hadn't caught the posts in here, I would have installed it.

So these pistons going around without reliefs, they are for dirt/pit bikes?

So these pistons going around without reliefs, they are for dirt/pit bikes? Most of the time, from what I've seen and sold, yes.

Good to know. I've now ordered this piston and jug. But after all this I'm worried about the quality of the head that came with the other kit. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01303YV08Thanks again. I'm learning so much and my bad for hi-jacking the thread.

I gotta say, the casting quality and quality control of those kits are horrible. Yes, some may last and give you thousands of miles of smiles, but others may implode the first week of riding. Don't skip steps, don't over torque, and build it right and you should be good. After working at Partsforscooters.com I can now see the differences in quality. You do get what you pay for.

The seller has since contacted me about the reliefs and is sending out 'a new dished piston'. He said the pistons without reliefs were tested and posed no issue. When the Glixal kit arrives I will have three 50mm jugs, and four 50mm pistons. I think I will open a shop. XD
I am going to go with the Glixal jug and piston kit and just use the stock head.
EDIT
Oh.. Glixal is bad?
