It doesnot ohm out between sparkplug cap and negative terminal on bat. Its a racing coil not sure if thar matters. Ok, first bit. If it wont register any ohms (open) from the plug to the negative battery terminal, then theres a real good possibility your battery isnt grounding. Flip the key on and see if your headlight comes on. If it doesn't, then check your negative line to the frame. Second point, those "racing" ignition bits are all garbage. They try to advertise "red hot super mega ultra spark" coils and "fancy racing spark advance" crap that 90GTVert has done science and testing to prove they're expensive paperweights. Go to partsforscooters.com and get a dc cdi, and a stock ignition coil. It's gonna save you some headache. And back to the ground strap issues, i've had personal experience with lots more than just scooters where the engine isn't grounding and i've added a solid ground wire from a starter mounting bolt right to the frame (a few riding lawnmowers) or directly to the negative terminal (my 2 stroke scooter) - not only did i get spark again, but the starter was running better than ever. So check the ground...
