I added 20ml to the tank after I installed the bbk. I started thinking my can was contaminated. I then added a 32oz can of the 50:1(trufuel). I’ve probably got too much oil. I’d planned on using the injection just had read that need to add some to tank since pump is meant for 50cc not 70...is that bs? What do you recommend? I’m gonna drain tank and start fresh.

I’m leaving a lot out of what I’ve tried. It ran pretty decent on the trufuel just way oil rich. I then topped off with my 5gal can of 91 ethanol free. Shortly there after won’t even fire.

I found a leak at the base of cylinder. I’ve got to order a new gasket. Hopefully that’s what’s causing it not to rev?

Adding oil to the fuel is not a great idea. It's hard to know how much oil the pump is putting into the fuel. It just becomes a guessing game. Also if you add oil you would need to adjust the jetting. On 70 kits i have just always junked the pump and gone premix. Yes it's a bit of a pain, but you always get the correct amount of oil.

The spark plug may need replacement also, excess oil will foul it quickly.

Everyone has their own preference... 40:1 with good quality oil will be just fine. Don’t use Walmart or outboard oil.

No I don’t wanna start that debate. I’ll try a 43.79:1 ratio🤔

Go full-race and do 20:1. It'll drip oil from everywhere and it'll kill bugs miles away. But it'll be well-lubed.

Don’t use Walmart or outboard oil. Shit. I've used Walmart brand outboard oil. I should probably be buying better oil haha. Currently I'm running Castrol 2t injector oil for snowmobiles.

Quick story, we needed 2T oil for the lawn equipment at the shop, boss called up NAPA to drop some off. A gallon of valvoline outboard oil. Still working the way through it. Some of the stuff was hard starting so I gave them a once over and the plugs were a pile of carbon goo. I’ve never seen that with the oil I use not to mention it smells almost like gear oil. So yeah use the good stuff.

Maybe it's not "low Ash".
What color is it? Blue? Red? Grey?

Its a blueish-black. I’ll check the bottle tomorrow. But it’s nasty stuff. Amsoil for me.
