look on youtube chinese scooter review some people say they have say 20,000 - 40,000 miles on it and works fine, it depends if you dont push it in red zone and change oil on time it should be okay.
49cc is weak so depending on your weight and if there's any hills in your area you might put too much load and have engine work at its upper limits to ride this will wear it out faster.

WOT is not bad as long as you dont go past 9,000-10,000 RPM

I'm 300lbs and my TaoTao 49cc has 5,000 miles on it that are basically all WOT when not in a town (most of the time). I don't see any reason it can't go much farther than that. I have had to replace some parts though, and I change my oil every 500 miles. If you leave it alone (aside from maintenance) the engine itself should be good for quite a bit more than 5,000 miles. When you add a big bore kit and more performance parts, it tends to take a toll on reliability/longevity. Even then, the typical 72cc upgrade should be fine for 5,000 miles.

I'm currently at 4000 miles with a 47mm BBK / 39mm stock head, I run WOT 90% of the time, and usually keep the front wheel up . I just don't exceed 9k RPM, keep the oil fresh with synthetic, and tune it accordingly every season

If you don't abuse them and give them proper maintenance, they'll go for quite a few more miles over 5k. Matt

Proper maintenance schedule and you will get ten times that 5000 mi . If you want it i will give you one i used for years and have seen 100's of Chinese scooters live for 6 years 8 years as commuters .

If you go thru and make sure there’s been a proper PDI and check all the systems, i.e. good fuel lines, good fluids (change everything), check the torque on major nuts and bolts.
Also, think about either replacing or buying an extra CDI, and getting a genuine Keihin carb. These are two common failure points and a used Keihin is well worth the money over a generic or OKO (I can’t tell you how many Chinese carbs I’ve put into the metal recycle bin).
