Noticed that the stock belt in my scoot is a 669/18/30 it rides low in the rear pully and at idle or not running it should be as far out as possible to get your low speed take off I looked and found a 728/18/30 it's longer and says its for the long case I'm wondering if this belt will work or be too long has anyone else had this issue and what are your suggestions thank you

You need to give us a little more info Like what scooter you have . That is a large increase over what you have . Belt manufactures measure belts differently so try to stay with the same brand to avoid headaches as you move up in size . Do a sharpie taest on the front pulley take a marere and mark from the inner to outer edge . Go down the road full blast and see how many mm you have left . measure how many mm you have left on rear pulley . Take the smaller of the 2 measurements and multiply x 3.14 (pythageoreum theory And I thought my middle school teacher was crazy that I would use it some day) so if you have 4mm up front left and 5 mm in back Multiply times 4mm x 3.14 =12.42 mm Find a belt about around 12mm bigger. That is a safer way to up size a belt Here is a thread where it talks about the callenges of different manufactures belt measuring 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/24543/top-performance-td-belt-length
