Well the next chapter of my "bummer ride day." story. While i wait for parts to get my Triton rolling again i've been struggling with the dependability issue i am having. As the primary ride leader for my club i really need a scoot that can pull lots of miles and not kill a club ride half way through the day. So even though i love the sound and feel of a 2T screaming at the top of its game i have given in and gone to the 4T dark side. Tomorrow morning my friends and club members (The local Kymco dealer) is driving 4 hours round trip to Rolla, MO to pick up this 150cc bad boy for me. Kymco Super 8 150 I spent today driving the one like it that my friend Vince has so i already know i will love it. The sad thing is that to make the deal work i had to trade in the little rocker. Sad caus i LOVE that hot rod but that's life and he gave me a ridicules trade in for it.

It was a Vento Triton and he gave me what i paid for it a year and 4,000 miles ago. It does have some upgrades but i got most of them at cost and other than the pipe the BBK has close to 3k miles on it so i got my monies worth and then some.
We try not to say hard numbers when dealing with him because he gives club members pricing that is very unadvertised. ;D
Goosey - Thanks for the welcome. It is a comfort to know some one is there to see me through. LOL

Thanks, i can't wait to get a pipe on it so i can hear it roar. No point in riding any scoot if you can't hear it's heart.
It will be fun to explore a new world for upgrades. And you know i'm just gonna have to run it down the track in May.
Hey have you got to see the T&G DVD yet? Your quite the star interview!

I hate to see the triton go, but that's one sweet replacement. Congrats on the new ride.

Good deal Tim! ;D A 150 four should suit your need better  I would go that route to if i had to ride a bunch (or in your situation). I dont blame ya one bit! Maybe someday you will find a sweet deal on a 2T to play around with :riding: ? Have fun buddy :thumb:
