Well club member Jim drove me out in his truck and members David, Mike and shop owner Tim were waiting when i arrived at OPS to pick up my new rocker! Was cool of them to share the moment with me. Was a nice ride home but i was nervous as a cat. Just excited i guess. Can't tell it from the pictures but the black is a kind of a mat texture. Really sharp. Rolled out with 1.5 miles on it and parked it with 15. Tomorrow some riding for sure.

Looking forward to seeing what the future holds for this new scoot. Go the camera mounts on it yet? ;D

Ha, this time i want the camera mounts on everyone else's scoots so i can see IT!
I'll work on placements tomorrow among other things. Def need some of those clear sport bike style turn signals. And need to get that ugly "Super8" sticker off the front. Nice that it is not clear coated on.
Then next week probably an extreme fender delete.

Nice scoot man. I love the Super 8. I was thinking about the new 2T option for that scooter this winter. Just worried about going away from my 40qmb.

From what I hear, it's hard to go wrong with a Kymco.

Nice scoot man. I love the Super 8. I was thinking about the new 2T option for that scooter this winter. Just worried about going away from my 40qmb. That 2T was my first choice but by the time i added the cost of a BBK and pipe the o9 150 was a much better deal. Still i love me a 2T and would probably have done it if i had the extra money. Couldn't give up the 40+ mph either.

So far i got the silly "super8" sticker off the front. Got most of the "This scooter may contain hazardous material, don't let your children eat it" government stickers off. Did a partial fender delete.
Today shopping for sporty turn signals and working out a camera mount.
What a great day.

Nice looking scoot. I wonder how long until the first person on the street asks "is that a Kawasaki"

Nice looking scoot. I wonder how long until the first person on the street asks "is that a Kawasaki" I'm surprised it hasn't happened already. It is funny to get the double takes from the sport bike guys. Ok got the LEDs but i spent the day getting tags then rode for about 50 miles in 90+ heat so i'm just going to sit here in the AC and watch American LaMans at Lime Rock. I'll put the lights on Sunday. First club ride with it tomorrow.

LOL, I think it has more of a praying mantis face Kymco is probably not too much on the dark side, it's the only scooter the local Harley shop sells and works on.
