Paid the insurance for my new scooter. Even if the registration number does not exist yet! What did you get? Piaggio typhoon. Pick it up Friday. Going to be a slow, wet 50 miles ride home from Guildford. They thought I would get it delivered. Where is the fun in that!

Nice journey back if you dont use the A3 and come back down the Hogs Back then Farnham , Wrecclesham and Petersfield onwards. Hopefully the weathers good for you. They look nice 2T or the darkside 4T

I installed my new 50mm airsal bbk setup on my 139qmb today. Wont start it until this weekend probably.
For curiosity, I did a preliminary comprssion test, 215psi. Pretty high, and thats while cold, WITHOUT ring breakin, im interested to see how it changes after breakin.
For comparison, With the 47mm bbk (and the same stock head) i had 205psi warm, after breakin.

Had to wait 2 months for this. Think Piaggio are stopping making them soon. The dealer had trouble getting it. Going the pretty way home. Godalming, Haslemere, liphook, petersfield. Then will decide which way to go from there.

Nice time of year for it with all the leaves turning on the trees. I had forgotten that route. You need to take some pics and post if you have time. No stopping in the cider house in Godalming if it still exists you'll never get home 😊

I gave Sonja a new intake boot and down jetted from 100 to 97 on the main. Never thought I'd have to stretch it so much, I actually broke a sweat putting this on haha And then added Oury mountain bike grips, which I did to Stella a while back. These grips are SUPER COMFY!

Well thought it was time to do a comp test now motor has 40 houres on it was a little surprised did one on my friends 172cc molissi only had 115psi I thought that was a little low but it goes like stick very fast and smooth bike to ride anyway this is what I got on my bike I was surprised it was a little higher than I expected I'm running high compression was over 15:1 so I put a thicker bead of high temp RTS copper and it seems to have worked in dropping compression hoping it's more like 14:1 now and test seems to say same thing I know 220psi is 15:1 so 200psi should be around 14 I hope fun building hand granade motors but if u get anything wrong BANG lol start again lol

Here's a weird one: been riding my 93.4cc stroker almost daily for a few months and then parked it for a week or so. Yesterday I went to pull the variator off to clean up before I go cruise and the boss is literally STUCK in the Naraku variator that I have been using for quite some time. I used a long engine mount bolt to extract the boss by smacking the bolt on the ground in turn pounding out the boss. It was then a tight fit in my Polini variator, but did fit. I could not get the boss back in the Naraku variator at all. I even took a flat file to the edge of the boss, no help. Swapped to the Polini variator so I could ride.
First time I have ever had a boss stick in like this. Suspected rust, none. No corrosion either.
Anyhoo, I installed a new drive face and clutch bell and went cruising for the day and got some speed run test videos done.
