So i rented a compression tester and got 120 psi. I think thats good enough for the engine to start? Or not?

Got a new wrist pin bearing. New piston and rings. Also got a cylinder from scrap yard that was better condition than yours except for rust. Maybe I will just swap everything out? If good compression in cylinder how hard would it be to kick start? Same as a 50 4t or harder?

stock 12mm carb i believe off of ebay. Yes arrow down. Almost messed that one up, but cought it right away. Going to try the original carb it came with even though it started oxidizing. Insides still look good. Maybe the compression isnt as good as I thought? I reamed the cylinder walls pretty good I thought. Minor and i mean very minor scratches. No gouges.
Hey 190mech, arent you coming to anderson for some unknown reason pretty soon? stop on by and Ill take you to are moped grave yard and 2 scrapyards where they have all sorts of moped stuff, sometimes.

Clean gas. When I hold throttle wot it seems like it wants to kick over more that when not holding throttle. Wet plug, YES! Changed it and got another wet plug. My damn leg huts now, and I might be high from paint fumes. So if its running to rich then what? Get a smaller jet? I was really hoping to get it running, at least a second or 2. Oh well dont wanna rush it and mess something up even more I guess I will adjust mixture screws some more, and give my other leg a workout now.

Finally got my cpi POP together. I am currently trying to start it but no luck. Watched carb tuning vids, I have spark i have fuel and air. Compression seems ok but i do not have a way to check. When i check plug it is wet with gas so i believe i am running way to rich. Tried adjusting carb but no luck. Anyone got any good info for me? Or can you snap you fingers and make it run like a top? Any help appreciated Thanks. In the meantime I will be painting and sanding and painting body panels.

My cpi when I got it. It did not have the plastic. Got parts from 49scoot family, thank you all who have helped. Here I made custom engine extension. Not quite finished yet. Still need to clean out the tank and finish up paint. Hopefully it will start right up. I'm sure I will need to get a new starter. What do u think of the color?

My friend has a VIP peace sports and a jonway, both 50cc. The belt on his jonway broke do he put the one he had for his VIP on the jonway. Now his jonway won't move. It starts but will not accelerate. The belt seems to be to small. Y would that be if both engines are the same?

So I had a pretty deep scrape on the cylinder wall, I don't have a ream so I used a flap disk that fit really good in the cylinder to smooth it out. 40mm=1.574in after getting rid of the scratch I measured the ID and it measured from 1.574 to 1.578 in some places. Just wondering if the larger dimension is ok or just go ahead and get a new cylinder?

Just as soon as he swapped out cams. No bbk. If i drill out idle mix screw is there a screw behind the plug or do i have to put one in? That would be very helpful to me.Probably solve all his problems.

Never would of thought to check enricher. This problem started after he put in a performance cam. A8 cam i believe. It still has stock carb with no idle adjustment screw. And the throttle screw is tightened all the way down so that it will stay idleing.
