I was thinking what dude had said about the valve lengths But then i saw I had 4-5 different rockers with different stampings on them. And i did not think that they made that many different heads with all those valve lengths. So now what? Somebody has to ask the mfg I guess! Hoy Chi Min!

So I decided to put the bigger cam on the other engine and to find out that the engine has a bore kit installed! YEAH! Then i put the bigger head on from the 100 cc bbk but it didnt work well. It was slower?? Why was it slower?Put the other head back on, much better. I believe the bore kit that was on the engine was only a 80cc The piston is bigger than the 50cc but smaller than the 100

Can I change the head on the engine without having to get a new gasket? Or will the metal gasket still work ok? I forgot how slow these damn things are without any upgrades!!

can I use the performance cam on a stock engine? And do I use the stock rockers or the bigger performance rockers? I would be using the stock lifters and everything else.

when I put the bbk in I forgot to put one of the piston pin sprongs in. Ended ub putting a big scratch on the piston cylinder wall. Man am I stupid!! Also One time I loosened the bolts holding the engine head together and I think the gaskets started leaking. Oh well, Thankfully I have another engine. When I get the money Ill just buy another BBK kit and upgrade both engines. Now it seems so slow though. I don't even have enough money to buy a gasket set, It sucks but at least I still have transportation. Thanks for your help with everything. Were you ever able to find out whats the biggest tire I can fit on the back of a 10" vip? Thanks again

Heres my luck, Riding the vip to go see my kids. Atarts riding weird like the rear tire is slipping and I pull over to check it out. Oil all over the place! WTF?? Fill it with oil and make it to see my kids. Check it out and find that oil is spewing out of the valve cover tube. What is wrong? most people say its a cracked cylinder. Any other positive outcome?? Something easy to fix that doesn't cost money? 10 inch wheels

got power but not sure how much? My house got robbed a few mpnths ago, all my shit was taken so Im starting all over, without much money. I even need new clothes. Its really messed up story. So do you know about rear tire size on the vp? went to check the the valve lash and the cam cover is cracked? Its the second one. I figured the first one was because I overtightened but the second one I know I didn't! WHY ME???

I forgot, What is the biggest size tire I can fit on the back of a vip? I have a Honda ruckus tire on the front but it definatley would not fit on the back. Thanks again

Ok, Heres another one for you. On this moped I picked up for 20 bucks, when its idling there is a ticking sound coming from I believe its called the variator. Where the roller weights are. Its not the gear. But when even just a little throttle is used it goes away? Also with the starter. I took apart and it looked good. Put it back together and when I tried it It would not hit the gear or did not have enough power. I took the pully cover off and the gears meshed well. Im trying to fix this one up for my girl. So I definitely need the electric start to work. Sorry for all the Questions.

Thanks! Fixed lifters. much better now. But now im getting a lil hesitation on take off and backfire when going wot to stop. TO much fuel? It kinda aggravates me because its a constant work in progress but on the other hand it gives me something to do. Wish I had the money for one of those real turbo kits. They are bad ass!

Thanks, I kinda figured as much. The tip about the soda can will help for the time being. I do have a tac, Im pretty sure it just about maxes out but am unsure. I don't know if its accurate. How much will a gear swap cost? Im a broke mfer. Thanks again.

Nube here. I just upgraded my vip to 100cc bbk. It doesn't go much faster top speed about 50. Id like to get up to about 55-60 range for my top speed. Kit was from 02starrider, new head piston cam carb exhaust cdi basically everything. Could it be a valve lash prob? I don't have a .004 gauge to check. Rollers are stock but do have 8g weights I still need to put in. Anybody got any suggestions? Thanks
