has anyone tried, or know someone that has tried, Sudafed while experiencing c0vid symptoms? i'm talking the O.G. Sudafed that is "behind the counter" now. it has pseudoephedrine in it. back in my early 20's we would take Thermadrine or Ripped Fuel because it had Ma Huang (ephedra) in it. it is an expectorant and a bronchial dialator. so it helps you clear/cough out phlegm and it as a bronchial dialator, it opens up your air ways and passages. weight lifting sessions were longer, i could run 3 miles on the track and then some more. some days i would run 5 miles instead of the usual 3 mile goal. i think/feel that it increases you vO2 max or oxygen exchange efficiency.
...but then again, maybe we just used it to revvvv. it was like off-the-shelf speeds that you bought at GNC. i know this much, when i was taking ephedrine, i could read very fast, almost speed reading, and actually lock away and remember the information.
just a thought from the irie-lab.

now i have a 95 main jet in with the pipe and no air filter seems to run good except it gets in the powerband from 3-5 mph to 15 then revs down at 20 and when it hits 25 it zooms up to 35-38 on flat ground sometimes like i said i only installed a variator kit with 5.5 rollers nothing to do with the clutch what would be my next move i’m thinking clutch springs and contra also i might be thinking about getting a big bore soon not sure but was also thinking maybe i can order lighter roller weights also i’m trying to wheelie as well so what would help me wheelie
stoney guy, you are moving a little too fast.
1. you need to look into buying a "tuning roller kit". it comes with different weights to help you dial in you variator faster. however, the plastic sleeves on the rollers are not durable and are not meant for constant use. they are just used to help you find the total weight set the performs/shifts to your liking. once you zero in with tuning rollers and find the total weight setting that you like, then you buy genuine rollers in that specific weight. you probably going to have to do some math, i think tuning roller sets only have 3 rollers of each gram weight, so you test with 3 rollers instead of the normal 6 rollers. $20-$36.
2. look into buying jet kits that go in 2 point increments. 5 point increments is okay for quick-and-dirty means of getting it to run, but you will never achieve optimal performance if you are running jets that go in increments of 5 instead of 2. buy a Main jet kit and a Pilot jet it in increments of 2. Polini pilot kit $30. Polini main kit $30.
3. you should invest in an adjustable clutch. if not, if you seek Wheelies, you need springs that are stiff enough for your clutch to engage at the RPM where your bore kit is about to peak, and that is going to be an RPM that is higher than stock clutch and stock springs. stay on the "cheaper" side, you will be having to pull springs when installing stiffer springs. if you buy a performance adjustable clutch, you use an Allen wrench to tighten the tension screw to increase pull on the spring and fine tuning the RPM at which the clutch engages. adjustable clutches like the Malossi Delta, Stage 6 torque control MK I,. or the Polini 3G Evo. the Oahu Honda elite guys run the Polini Blue springs (7000) on clutches to wheelie, but i think that is on "stock" or KELI heavy/medium clutches. i tried to pull Malossi MHR Black springs onto a Malossi Fly clutch, that was damn near impossible, but it would have been 7000 like the Polini Blues. $30 for Polini spring set $40 for Malossi spring set. clutch $100ish
4. get some gauges. invest in a TTO cylinder temp gauge and a TTO tachometer. it will make tuning your wheelie machine easier. the Tach will make tuning your clutch and variator more easy. the Temp Gauge makes tuning/jetting your carburetor easier. Duck Soup, Nice and Easy. $50 and $50.
5. tea strainer with stainless steel mesh. if you going to run a wide open carb, at least put a tea strainer screen on it. it is all fun and games until a rock or something hard gets sucked into your carburetor and it destroys your piston and/or rings. $5
the keys to the wheelie kingdom are now in your hands .

Thanks for the help! Quick question, how strict are the safety inspection out here in regards to exhaust pipes? Would it be a auto fail if I show up with a R? Zino you mentioned there could be a 3-4MPH with the Lion, is that just with the exhaust by itself or the entire upgrade? (BKK,exhuast and carb) If that was just for the exhaust. What is the potential top speed with the entire upgrade with the Lion? And with the R? Thank you for all the help.
as far as "strict"ness, i do not know, im runnin' "outlaw" right now.
however, i think it is 85 decibels at 15 feet away at half throttle.
so, i think in your case, just keep your stock exhaust and air box and install them when you have get the annual safety check. basically, you would be down tuning the bike every time you take it in for a safety check.
if not, look for another engine that you can build on the side. you can keep one "stock" and have one that is Modified to your liking. then just swap out the engines with you need to get safety check. at least you would always have a "back up" engine.
after changing my stock GTX (49cc) exhaust to a YMS V8, i gained 10 mph. i think the Wild Lion is in the same category as the V8 so i would assume the sound level is similar. V8's are fairly quiet. half-wave exhausts out of Taiwan.

That limiter was the culprit. Now I'm back at zooming around low 40s. Do you guys have any recommendation on which exhaust goes with a 70CC malossi sport bkk and a 17.5 carb? I'm not trying to race or hit the highway with it. I do a lot of stop and go and some hills (average around low 20s)
im happy for you knives87. i glad that i was helpful.

i think it is a roller weight issue as it stands.
internet says yellow malossi spring is +1500. the red NCY spring that i had was +2000. the yellow NCY spring that i ran was +1500.
there was a scoot forum called provoscooter years ago. the administrator had a thread on rollers and sliders. if i recall correctly, he said the sliders had to be 0.5 grams heavier than a roller to have similar shifting performance. to me it makes total sense. sliders have a larger sliding surface than the 2 contact points on a roller weight.
virtually, 7 gram Dr Pulleys with a Red spring and 7 gram rollers on a yellow spring, are 2 very different setups. i think you need lighter rollers.

We have no 'need to know' where it came from but my money is on an escape from a Chinese bio-weapon lab. I am willing to bet a lot more lethal bugs inhabit bio-weapon labs around the world.
...or maybe from F0rt Detrick...
for some strange reason, they got shut down when the p@ndemic was in full swing. even xi-Jin-ping told the world press to check F0rt Detrick when most of the media was pointing to wuh@n china. reminds me of The 12 Monkeys. pretty sure it is a level 4 bi0 l@b as well, just like wuh@n.
but since 2019 till now, h@waii had 381,570 cases. total deaths to date is 1,854.
1,854 / 381,570 = 0.0048588762.
to date, 0.4% of the people here who tested positive, died. 0.4% mortality seems like a shitty bi0 we@pon to me.
nationally, 103,957,053 cases. total deaths to date per cdc is 1,123,613.
1,123,613 / 103,957,053 = 0.0108084345.
to date, 1.08% of the people nationally that tested positive, died. 1.08% mortality rate. so, if it was released as a bi0 we@pon, it was not really effective in a short term sense. however, if it was designed to cause autoimmune disease, then we will have to see if mortality starts to ramp up at some point later in the future. some people talk about the increase in "excess deaths" in current times, is it just the beginning? from what i see at work, someone that was always masked in recent days just popped hot. the people that did not get vaxed have not popped hot. i got vaxed but no boosts, never popped hot since the "pandemic" hit here.
even with World Health Org data, 761,071,826 cases world wide. total deaths per WHO is 6,879,677.
that comes out to 0.0090394583. that translates to 0.9% mortality.
so world wide, less that 1 percent of the people that test positive, die from it.

here's some info my bruddah, link: bigbnrg porting a cylinder.link: pedparts blog. cylinder basic porting.lots of info on both sites. that's where i learned about porting. the way i see it, if you like learn, the first step is to try. i once bought a 47mm 70cc chinese cast iron bore kit from a local shop. no matter what kind of performance parts that i threw at it, the bike could not exceed 35 mph. however, acceleration was animal, up until it hit 35 mph and that was it. one day, a mechanic at one of the scoot shops that specialized in minarelli engines told me to check the port timing on the exhaust. he suspected that the timing duration was low. so i read up on the Big B NRG blog and the pedparts blog and it busted out the dremel to modify the exhaust port. i ported the exhaust according to the pedparts blog. as far as local shops here on Oahu, i was basically limited to either the YMS V8 exhaust or the Leo Vince zx-r. in the end, i ran the ported chinese cast iron bore with a YMS V8 because all of the potholes here on the streets of Honolulu ate up the 2 Leo Vince zx-r pipes that i bought. while i was porting the chinese bore kit, i was running a Motoforce Mid-Race 70cc bore kit. i used a hammer to persuade/remove the wrist pin on the stock 40mm bore. i was newbie and did not know any better. the Motoforce piston ended up cracking and breaking the skirt. i suspect that i bent the connecting rod on the crank by persuading the wrist pin with a hammer when i removed the stock piston and wrist pin. my only option was to reinstall the ported chinese kit that i ported because the bike was a daily rider for me to get to work. hot damn! i was impressed. the bore kit ripped. it wasn't a screamer, but it could haul almost as good as the mid-race kit with the Leo Vince zx-r. i likened it to how some of the Honda guys would run either the YMS V8, Phongeer short (PG short), or the Phongeer long (PG long) on the Elites that had Polini Corsa's here on Oahu. the PG's were more for rippin' it while the V8 was more for city grunt and less noise compared to the PG pipes. if you do not feel like spending money on 90 degree dental style grinder, you can hand-work and file the transfers to even them out and achieve the duration/timing you need. BigBnrg has a some tables on timings for exhaust port and transfer ports. you would have to buy some small " die sinker rifflers files". most likely, you would have to modify them. use a torch to heat up and bend the shank of the appropriate file and then possibly grid down the file to shorten it. with some time and patience, it can be done.

If it was my bike I would just scrap the engine and source another, way too many questions and if you don't feel comfortable splitting the case then probably best to just start over. Well I have the chance to buy the same stock 90cc motor from an importer that said it was running before he took it off another scooter.. but do you think it's worth $250 In this condition?
i bought an engine from a chinese moped shop here in Honolulu. it had an outer CVT cover that was stamped YAMAHA. the cover fore the gear box is stamped AXIS90. i bought it brand new for $350.
installed an Athena up gear set, a 54mm bore kit that i ported, and a BWS YMS V8 exhaust. it could outrun many of the modified Honda's on the weekend cruises. of course you are going to have to get some parts like a straight grooved rear pulley, a performance (not stock) variator, CT intake and 28mm OKO Carburetor (the hawaii special), and an aftermarket adjustable clutch. you can run 60+ mph all day, easy.
you can also take the time to do partial disassembly of the BWS100 engine to check the stroke and wrist pin size. take the head off, clamp the bore down with some spacers (old roller weights) and the nuts. check stroke. check your cylinder timing duration. if you really care about the details, you can make it into a fairly fast engine. it won't be high revving like a racing 70cc kit, but it will have a lot of grunt and it wont have to scream at high RPM to have power and accelerate.
you never know, that bore kit could be set up on point, but if your carburetor settings are not in range, you will not get good performance. sometimes, carb tuning and CVT tuning go hand in hand. but ultimately, if your carb is not tuned right, the performance will be lacking.

You will be happy to know I purchased two of them! I planned to sell the other one to help offset the cost of my parts addiction but I'll sell it to you at cost if you want it.
i'll "trade" you the 2 intake boots for one of those air boxes. let me know. i picked up the 2 boots you wanted on Saturday, but on my way to 808 Cycle Center, my drive axle bearing broke so i was not able to send out the boots this past weekend.

Like Chad from CB media says about Thailand, safety fifth.
i love that guys channel. seeing all the titanium fabrication in Thailand makes me a lil' bit envious.
Thailand got some cool machines. Thai Torque has some cool videos too.

my drawing of the YMS V8 internals might be inaccurate. i was looking up "power pipes" in the Philippines and i came across this video of the guy from RF Pipes cutting open a KAS half-wave canister. unlike my drawing, this KAS pipe actually has 1 extra baffle in it. watching him braze/weld the pipe back up is very interesting. i found another video of a pipe builder MV Racing. it is pretty neat to watch them tack and weld with an Oxy-Acetylene torch. now i see why 190mech and 90GTVert told me to research welding processes when i hacked up my JAD pipe to reorient it's configuration. they make it look so simple with the torch. and lastly, the guys from GM Pipes in the Philippines. ...they all use gas torches.

i made a mock up template for a bracket to run 2 NCY brake calipers on the front wheel. the plate that i am planning on using is 0.125", a little over 3 mm, in thickness. this is just the brainstorm mock up from looking at my picture of the 2 red NCY calipers on the 220mm brake rotor. concept for now, i gotta wait till i get more play $ on a paycheck before i can buy another NCY caliper at 808 Cycle Center.

I had a 5/8th wave antenna. Theory was the 5/8th would “push” the wave outwards at a better rate than a 1/2 wave. Yes radio frequency and reflected sound waves are not very closely related but I ran CBs in a lot of my vehicles.
you might be on to something here.
now that you mention 5/8th wave antenna, the guts of the V8 look to be like a 5/8th wave rather than a real half-wave.
thank you for sharing that information.

the PWK solution is something like this: rich's taylored porting venturi divider. Boyesen's solution. Thunder Products Quad Flow Torque Wing.
