Didnt the Italjet crank have a smaller taper, needing a shim to fit the TGB flywheel?I can send my 4 pole flywheel/stator to lend so at least you can say,HEY!the 4 pole stator only works with a 4 pole flywheel!!If it does work, keep it till you find a good solution for your problem..Ive stated the TGB scoots are high quality, but if parts arent readily available, are they a good deal??Just like Piaggio scoots,DANG I wish they were here, best race platform out there, but alas,we are in the US of A and have a limited selection of junk to "enjoy"!!

over $100 I might as well buy from TGB the replacement. I already inquired about the cost of it from parts@tgbscooters.us to see if it is any different from harrys price but its probably the same.
thanks 190mech but I don't think it's worth the postage to do that haha. I don't need the scooter for any transportation it is 100% recreational and I can still ride it the way it is, just can't go too far or might not have enough battery to start back up (also can't ride at night).
High quality, yet they came with a part that fails for my scooter, jwhood's, and the other r50x that was for sale that "wasn't working" on local CL I guarantee is same stator issue. I wouldn't even be mad if it was a simple china part swap but It seems no one sells these things...

I have a feeling though that all TGB dealers will go through the same way to get the part. I could sell you this 4 pole stator if you find a 4 pole flywheel for an italjet for like $15 shipped. Pretty sure its not working for me because of the 8 pole flywheel. I think the excessive magnets are actually cancelling eachother out except for a small field that is producing that small voltage on the coils... Don't get why the exciter coil seems to work though. Thanks for the number, I'll call monday and see what they say. IIRC there is a tgb dealer near miami/boca over here.

How many wires are coming out of new stator?? new stator is 3 wires. 1 bullet connector for exciter coil and the red/white and yellow/white for charge/lamp. those 2 were originally in a 3 pin female connector but I've since spliced on the original 2 pin male connector that was on the old stator. Important to note the ground and blue/yellow (pickup) wire didn't come with the stator, it wasn't the whole assembly just strictly the stator, but your pickup coil should work should show like 150 ohms.

So I got an email finally from TGB Taiwan, said they never got the email and the one sent via the "contact us" was in their junk mail, so I forwarded them the email.
Also got an email from TGB US:
Crikey! 2-3 months!
In the meantime I came up with 2 ideas.
1. There is a TGB 101S with no title on a nearby CL someone wants $275 for, maybe could buy their flywheel/stator.
2. About a year ago before I bought this scooter, I went and looked at a TGB Key West someone was selling cheap but never ended up buying it. I think the guy said he was going to junk it but I do think I still have his number so I could try that as well.
UPDATE: ricky stator wrote back too:
