Good idea Teach simple is better. Just make sure you reenforce the rack as most are only rated for 5-10Lbs.

Thanks guys. Not only will it work better I think it looks better too. I will be sure and reinforce it a little more, but the rack it has now is solid steel bolted directly to the frame I think it would probably hold as is. However, I don't want my trailer to pass me one day.

That would be cool. I know a welding company in my area they could do the metal work for me as I'm not too good nor do I have a welder.

Just an idea-
That curved hitch tube should probably extend from the hitch swivel all the way down to the front square tube cross-member. Otherwise you may end up with cracks at the welds.

I had thought about that I was thinking I would gusset it to combat the problem.

Gussets may help, Those welds at the junction of the hitch tube and the curved front end will have a lot of force on them.

It looks like you put an old science lab bench to good use for your assy table.

Yeah we sure did they were originally in the schools wood shop and we needed metal working tables so I just covered them with 14ga flat (if I remember right).

It's finished (except wiring). It pulls awesome. I didn't have much time today so I just pulled it around the block. I'll snap some more pictures asap.
