I have an older couple next door and the husband is amazed by the scoots. They never complain and he takes an interest. The other neighbor next door we'll just say she's not the president of my fan club but she hasn't complained and is never home. I had to cut a notch out of a cross brace on the frame for the plug boot. Damn cylinder is to big. Lol!

It's rich and sputtering. Plug is wet and yes it's loud. Funny story, I cut the cable for the oil pump by the block where it splits from one cable to two. I didn't have the right pliers the first time I tried and when I went back to cut it I cut it lower. So when I fired it up it was at full throttle and hung there. Good thing it is nasty rich. I made a left turn standing on the side if it and supermaned it into the recycling bins and wall. One of those things where you look up to see if anybody saw you. Anyway it's got a 98 main with a stock air box on it. I'll drop it and test some more tomorrow. I need to put another clutch in it. This one is engaging too soon with medium springs because of one of the spring holes being oblong.

Nearly ate on Federal, right in front of all the cars. It would have been YouTube worthy. *sigh*

Here is the crossmember I notched for the boot. I'm going to have to do away with it but I don't think it will be an issue. There's one about 10" in front of it where the frame comes together and behind it for the motor mount. Still another back by the gas tank. If I didn't have the 12" rear wheel on it With a long case it might not be an issue.

Not sure if it would be enough for you from that angle, but I chopped my plug cap to make it fit easier. Was still a pain, but doable. I was using a 42mm stroke though and not using the huge head like the Hoca. One thing that may be a problem on very small framed scooter is fitting the spark plug boot onto the plug, because clearance is so tight. I used a hacksaw to cut a little bit off of the end of my spark plug boot and solve the problem. Leave as much as you can while still allowing relatively easy installation of the plug boot. Figured I'd do the first styling mod this morning before making a bunch of noise. I picked up a couple of 1157 bulbs sockets and bulbs and installed them in the lenses in the leg shield, wired them up and ditched the bar hanging signals. The bulbs are bigger than what I need and probably draw more power but I'll convert to LED later and for $12 it's a good mod.

There's a nice one here on CL for $400 and was one at Boca Scooters for about the same. They both are the Gray color I like. That was my first scoot and I liked it a lot.
