Well the Retro has landed. It's in pretty good shape. The headlight cover and front fairing are cracked but it's not real visible except to me so they'll get replaced. It runs good. Has an exhaust leak and an oil leak that will all be soved by premixing and a long case motor swap. This thing is tiny compared to my RX8 and Zuma but I like it. The front suspension is strange feeling. Very spongey like riding in a Caddy. That too will get a change along with the brakes. The title I can see is going to be an issue. I have it but it's got names and scribble on it like a kids menu at Denny's. I think I'll start with the 103cc stroker motor for power and see how I like it. This could make a nice rider. Getting a little crowded in the garage. Good thing it's small.

Woohoo! Do we still get to see a burnout even though it's the black stroker not the pink stroker!?

All in good time. I think if I tried now I'd bottom out the front end.

I may have a brand new front piece for you. I bought it for my Venice from that place you told me about, but it did not fit. Possibly it will fit yours?

I thought they were the same scoots but I've seen Venice's with front disc. Maybe it is different. I'm going to finish stopping it tomorrow and I'll post a pic. Can you do the same?

Fox wasn't kidding when he said in a different thread that getting the plastics off these things was different. You can't simply pull the seat bucket to access the motor or carb. That may be a mod I look at. Making a false bottom or something. She is however getting naked.

I pulled it out and gave it a quick degreasing. I hate working on crap covered in crud and this thing had it's share for a scoot with only 2300 miles. Another bonus to premixing these things is stopping the leaking oil tanks, senders, lines and pumps!

The plastic under the seat is different. The front piece looks real close but yours looks to have 2 mounting points on each side up top just inside the recess for the marker lights. Mine has one on each side. It's hard to say.

I got the 103cc stroker long case mounted. I'll mock up the plastics to see where they will fall. The rear 12" wheel and tire looks huge. I used my stock shock from the RX8.
