i have bought a lot of parts from them for my scooter and for scooters i fix for people. i have never received an incorrect or damaged part. one time i couldn't find the right brake pads for a hunter style scooter and they guided me through the website while on the phone with them and took me right to the correct pads. prices are reasonable and the quality is good. i usually get the parts in 2 days time. i recommended them to a local dealer and he signed up with them for all of his scooter parts. if you can't find the part on their website you are looking for give them a call, chances are they have it in stock. Mo is a great guy, he is the tech support, i have emailed him with questions before a purchase and he always gets back to me.

Scrappydog usually is pretty good. The only thing is shipping goes higher and higher the more stuff you get, it can get out of hand pretty fast on 100 dollar plus orders.. I just wish they had a cap on shipping or better yet, free shipping on all orders over 50 dollars or some thing like that.

We still have our old and inexpensive website in place due to popular demand. A new site would run us 10's of thousands of dollars, which we can't afford without raising parts prices, which haven't been raised in over 5 years now! For larger orders with alot of small parts it's sometimes cheaper to follow the instructions on the bottom of every web page and call in your order. The phone gals will get you the cheapest current shipping rates without any handling charges. An alternative is to order off of one of our sister sites like www.chinesescooterparts.com which has a more intelligent shipping calculator, but does not have as many parts as the main site does.

Did you submit your order through facebook messaging or to order@scrappydogscooters.com? I don't recall seeing that order myself. BTW, we will be having alot of promotions and free shipping throughout the slow winter season this year. Our warehouse is stocked and getting stacked really high in anticipation for the spring rush to make sure we aren't in backorders.

I like the "old" site. It's user friendly. Yes it really is! All the "new" sites with all the flash and extra stuff annoys the crap out of me some sites slow my computer down with all the extras! My computer is no slouch with a 8 core intel i7 and 16gb of ram i can't imagine someone with an old single core machine on sites like that!

I have ordered from scrappydog. Fast delivery. Not any problems with orders. I would like to order one of the complete jog 90 longcases for my Vento triton. If they still have any?

if you're wanting a jog90 long cases, better make it quick, we don't keep these in stock long. when we're out we'll put "out of stock" in the listings description

i love the parts scrappydog has and the prices are reasonable but the shipping can get out of hand. it would be cool to see them do what other stores online do and have free shipping if you spend over $50. it should exclude the heavier stuff like complete engines.

While I am happy to see that some of your experiences are favorable, my last transaction with Scrappy Dog definitely was not. They not only shipped a previously installed part, they shipped the wrong part, and I had to file a dispute followed by a claim as they did nothing. Multiple emails, nothing. Filed dispute, wanted all the correspondence previously submitted. Then promises and more promises, but NO ACTION. To satisfy paypal, I had to ship their part back at my expense. Now reading the above statement from "rickman" proves to me they are simply not trust worthy. Here is why: There are probably not too many here that understand website coding and cost so here is a very short explanation. scrappydogscooter.com is built using Starfield Technologies (GoDaddy) website builder which is a considered a total joke by serious online business developers. Especially when compared to Dreamweaver from Adobe, if you still want to hard code a site in html, js, php, mysql. Or you could use WordPress which powers over 20% of the worlds websites, is GNU (free) licensed and continually updated, a full CMS system, now take that with all the plugins for ease of use, ecommerce, security and more (many of which are free) add that to a premium theme from a good developer that includes mobile devices, that could run around under $30 unless you choose someone like Agroya (about $1500) that powers many microjob sites-- grab some decent hosting with a full cpanel for about $60 a year -- That new website can be live in under 20 minutes, get some microjob site VAs to build custom graphics and clean the photos for under $100. Now if you can use a word processor (like the one here to post), create your pages with products and full ecommerce that easily. obviously that is a whole lot less than the statement he made! Now, I am glad I no longer use scrappydogscooters as they continually show me they are not trustworthy

Now, I am glad I no longer use scrappydogscooters as they continually show me they are not trustworthy hmmm, this last comment from "bull" was disturbing, so I checked up on this to see if what he said was true because we haven't had a Paypal dispute in quite a while, so maybe he confused us with someone else or this is a long time ago? I went back through company emails and saw nothing unanswered, and asked the front desk gals about this and they assured me that everyone that calls gets attended to. What did you order? When? What was the issue and what exactly was not resolved? We'd certainly like to resolve any and every customer issue as everyone knows here, so please give us a call at 702-689-6035 during business hours. As for the website suggestions, thanks! These are great suggestions, however, we already knew that there are some cheaper software options, the costs of setting up a new website was more of a technical and labor costs as we have thousands of parts with a very liquid inventory, always growing, so there is much more involved with just getting software, but I'll certainly look into all your great and informed suggestions. Oh, I don't really see my deficiency in website development software as being "not trustworthy". My expertise lies elsewhere, but I do try to live and learn!
