That sux Sitticuss. I had mine get stuck for a moment twice during install. A little panicking and quick action with the freeze spray saved my butt. the freeze spray didn't even help me. It's all good I've been lucky so far bound to hit a snag sooner or later

If you don't get the wheel on perfect TDC with the method I showed you will get different readings both ways. Both methods should produce the same numbers so put more trust in the ones that you get using the method that you do with the most confidence. Most likely it's 190.

Yeah they are short. I searched for an extension online but ended up getting it from TT. I got the extension for mine on eBay for $10 shipped I think. Can't find the link anymore though, this was a few months ago. Glad I did too, otherwise I'd be looking under my crotch for a temp.

Looks like I could get a much lower ratio than anything pressed together already from scootertuning if I got a set that needs pressed from scrappy's?

I don't believe the stuff Scrappy sells works for these long case engines.

I don't believe the stuff Scrappy sells works for these long case engines. If it's like mine in the VX, the only places I saw were Scootertunning.ca and some other place I forgot the name. All I know is 2TDave said don't shop there.

Yeah, pretty much you need to shop for the places that sell the big brands and carry parts for CPI... scootertuning.ca/en/107-gears...or try to find a whole set of gears out of a Triton (10.13:1).
