Is it possible that another intermediate shaft would work? I may have one from another long case.

I'm sure its possible. but how do I know which one to get? I could order a new CPI shaft to fit the Malossi but how do I know if the ends of the shaft will be the same size?
right now I have from end to end 10mm/19mm/14mm..I need 10mm/17mm/14mm

Did you see the one at partsforscooters? Listed as 10mm 14mm and 55.4 mm overall length.

Well after a few steady hours of work. A drill, dremel, grinding bits, sandpaper and a six inch gear puller. Sounds easy right? Yeah It totally wasn't.   |

Now to see if it all fits nicely in the gear box. If it doesn't fit its REDNECK RAMPAGE TIME.

The Gear box is back together. Every thing looks good so far.
primary 14/42=3
secondary 13/44=3.384645384
