www.partsforscooters.com/161-195-Idle-ShaftThe Idle shaft I got from Parts For Scooters is also 19mm not 17mm. So what exactly is the Malossi gear supposed to fit on? I tried to get the measurements for the CPI standard replacement Idle gear. But scootertuning said they don't have one in stock so they can't measure it. Edit: Also I noticed its listed as a short case gear? I need an expert here....

I ordered an actual CPI idle shaft from scootertuning and its also 19mm not 17mm. So I don't see how the malossi was going to fit anything at 17mm. What am I missing here? This is driving me bonkers. Ok more bonkers scootertuning.ca/en/107-gears |

The malossi is supposed to be for a cpi. but it doesn't fit the cpi idle shaft....WTF?

The guy at the machine shop that did my pressing had to use his big (40ton I think press). I didn't measure mine but IIRC you're 2mm off? There are some abnormal gears in some of these. Hell partsforchinesescooters didn't believe me when I told them I had the stock 10.13:1 gears and needed the 16 tooth input. They had never heard of the gear counts I gave them. I still haven't found a stock tall input shaft.
