I couldn't find the thread that you guys were doing the comparison of the different products for making the plastics shine.... Anyway, how's it looking now? Still good? You were in this too, right PirateLabs? Someone else as well I believe?

That is correct. My black shoe polish still looks great and has been wet several times since it has been applied. I really thought I needed a new floor mat but...not now.

Thanks spaz12 but those pics are before the plastic refresh. Those were meant to show the paint. Now imagine those pics with nice flat black plastics. If you know how that scoot looked before then that is a day and night difference. I think i have posted once or twice images of its old times in my BBK install thread and Jog-mania thread.

That scooter looks brand new. It really does look that good. I believe you qualify as a pro Tsimi I noticed two things about it just now. It has a disk brake in front. The Jogs here and in Canada have drum brakes. I also noticed that you did something between the first set of pictures and this set of pictures. I'm wondering if it's photoshoped or if it's real? Back to the disk brake. Do either you or Lucass2T know if that setup will swap over to the prebug Zuma's? I believe there are several guys here on the forum and in 'merica that would like to know the answer to this. I haven't researched yet what the diameter of the fork tubes on the prebug are yet, but I believe that they are 30mm. I think that there are possibilities here....

I do not know anything about zuma's specificly. Over here they are called BW's btw But i've never had one or worked on them that often that i know the answer. I dunno to what extent zuma suspension/brake parts or wheels are interchangable with axis/jog parts and vice versa. I know converting my axis to diskbrake wasn't the easiest swap i've ever done But i guess the drumbrake zuma fork might be the same as the drumbrake axis/jog fork. Because those are both with the (steel) outer fork legs fixed/welded in the triple tree. So the steering stem might be the same length and all. Then you will need to grind out the steering stem loose from the drum brake fork triple tree, and then press it into a disk brake triple tree (and weld the bottom).

If I ever decide to get a prebug (sorta unlikely) then I'd like to see for myself. I mean hell, the damn triple tree with forks can't be all that expensive? I'm sure the shipping cost more than the parts. Anyway, I've heard people wonder out loud. I think maybe PIG has thought about this since he actually has a prebug? I'd like to see someone do it too because that would make a prebug that much more desirable to me.
