Better... but still a country mile from where I'd like it to be... Ok, I don't have the belt all the way down on the boss yet, but this is ridiculous! I thinks they be puttin the wrong belt on! Just the fact that it says 'Made in China' makes it the wrong belt! yuk yuk yuk. Just think- it was already power-wheelieing like this! Ima hafta be careful with this beast!

Found a Prodigy clutch and bell in the engine from the 2001 scoot. Appears to be Taiwan performance stuff. I believe Autotech355 sells them on ebay. Looks cool but I prefer the Polini how does it compare to the Polini ? What's the I.D. of the clutch bell? Sitticuss, I took the Prodigy clutch and bell off and it's the same size as stock :/

I'm not sure how these clutch springs are rated: There's 4 sets and they say "12kg, 14.5kg, 20kg, and 25kg. They were included with some other goodies when I bought my 90cc crank and cylinder. I chose the 20kg...

I put a Bando 747 in there. Muuuccchh better! Got the right belt in, 5.5g rollers weights, shaved the faces of the vari, higher RPM clutch springs, scuffed the clutch pads and bell, and greased the torque driver. Awww snap! It's on now!

Dang- tried to take it for a ride with choke on and tape restricting the air filter lol. Where's jhobe6678 with the banjo music when you need him? (Anybody heard from him? Is he ok???) It just bogs most of the time but I did get it to pull the front wheel up for a second. If I reach down and cover the air filter with my hand it comes to life but it's hard to hang on! Guess I'll just wait for the jets. Once I get the carb tuned that should be it. Ready to go back to it's original owner... Then I get to play with the Athena crank on the 2001 and Athena BBK and LeoVince GP! *rubbing hands together* can't wait!

Guess I'll just wait for the jets. Doing wheelies with one hand on the air filter only sounds like a good idea if you enjoy broken plastics and trips to the ER. You could lose a flip flop doing stuff like that.

Dang little thing pulls so hard it was almost like whiskey throttle when I reached down to cover the filter! Only had to do that once to decide to wait on jets. Too many crashes lately! If I do crash this thing I hope it's from something satisfying like an epic wheelie lol. *knocks on wood*

Time to save my now defunked pennies and get me one of those beauties and get me to the races I"ve always said I"d probably end up with another scoot when one came along that I just couldn't live without. This could be the one! Well- the 2001. Another scoot that I'd like to check out is the Honda Elite. Probably because of the Hawaiian vids on youtube I've also heard many good things about the Dio. I see u have one Tiny... do u like it?

My EliteR is an SE50 not an AF18/AF16 like in the Dio/Elite SR. Which means parts are hard to find for the engine. But it is killer on the road as my SE50 was unrestricted so I can reach speeds of 66KPH/41MPH all day long and its light and agile as hell I love it Out of the four scooters that I own that's the one I would readily ride everyday if I could but at the moment it needs a piston and the cylinder honed which I can't get done at the moment which means it sits in my garage not being ridden . If I can find a cheap AF18 engine it would go in and all you would see is my Tail lights

Okaayy- First jet I tried (120) and she runs great! I've already had an "incident" Lol I stopped at the end of my road in some loose gravel and was going to hold the front brake and do a nice burnout- well instead of spinning the tire, the scoot leapt up and forward like a horse trying to buck me off! I was running alongside holding the left handlegrip and managed to lay it down in a somewhat controlled manner lol. No damage was done. No flip flops were lost

Aside from taking a year off my life I'm good too lol. RECAP: Stock sized Dellorto carb, free flow filter, 70cc (no name)BBK, Leo Vince ZX pipe, and carbon fiber reeds in stock intake. Now I'm wondering if I should've gotten bigger jets. I plucked the 120 originally out of the pile and tried it just because I had hunch that I wasn't way off with the 100 and it ran great. Guess I was because now I tried the 130- the biggest MJ I have- and it runs great with that too. Possibly a little better than the 120 but its hard to tell... I suppose I'm close now since putting the choke on has a negative effect on performance. I already have the needle at one slot away from richest so I guess I'll leave it this way and put some miles on her and see how she does. I thought I'd be able to get it pig rich with the 130 but I guess I was wrong! Its just dumb to have this free flow filter on here- it's not like it's a full blown race setup!

I guess I'm just a wuss but I can't seem to let myself let the scoot get past a 45 degree angle when trying to do a wheelie! I want to learn to do wheelies and I know I need to let the scoot get to like 60 degrees but I panic and let off! lol It's starting to get dark now nut I'll try to get some video of this scoot in action tomorrow. Funnest 70cc I've ever been on!
