When no one spends that kinda money on a Rocketa say "babe, i have no idea why its not selling, maybe we should keep it, its better that way. or on the flip side if someone actually DOES buy it for $8k you win that way too

I really like the thumb lever manual chokes on these prebugs. I like it so much I'm thinking of trying to fit one onto my AIR.

Found a Prodigy clutch and bell in the engine from the 2001 scoot. Appears to be Taiwan performance stuff. I believe Autotech355 sells them on ebay. Looks cool but I prefer the Polini

Is there ever a good time to tell our wives that we are getting another scooter?

After you've taken them for couples pedicures and a nice dinner with plenty of good wine.

Getting some electrical work out of the way while I wait for jets. I spent an hour trying to trace the flow of electricity through the board on these led turn signals before finally giving up and re-wiring the whole dang thing. Don't know why I'm so adamant I get these working as it's obvious they never worked before since the PO just added their own signals. Sometimes wanting to beat a challenge just outweighs common sense I guess lol.... EDIT: OK I give up. Waving the white flag. I don't even have enough resistors to make these work. It literally took a 27w headlight bulb to soak up enough juice to remedy the "hyper flash" blinkers (could've been less- that was all I had on hand). Moral of the story: if you're going to use led blinkers; get the led blinker relay!

I figured I'd find a performance variator considering there was a stock vari in the box of parts included. It's another Prodigy product. Ramps look a little better than stock since they don't just dead-end into the wall, but not much. It uses the stock sized 15x12 roller weights too. Note to self: Don't buy a Prodigy 'performance' vari! Since I dragged my feet on ordering the jets I think I'll play with the CVT a bit. I have some clutch springs that oughta help turn this baby into a real wheelie monster! The jets I ordered are are 105,110,115,120,125,and 130...

I haven't pulled the clutches off just yet but I can tell you I had to remove a bunch of material from inside the CVT cover to clear the Prodigy bell. It's lightweight but it seems cheaply made. I don't really like how its welded together of multiple pieces... The clutch is the same diameter as the Polini but it seems to stick out further.

Even with the 'restrictor' washer in place the belt is nowhere near down onto the boss. I don't have any more room on the crank without sacrificing the starter pawl or the e-start so my only option for a killer launch is to file the faces of the vari... BEFORE: AFTER:
