After I get it completely stripped down I'll probably at least check out the results of sanding 0.25mm off head to liven up the 50cc Piaggio cyl. before putting on the new top. Strangely enough that high speed stutter went away when I went back to the little cyl???

I lost a post that I was about to submit. Too tired to do over . This seems to be some good paint I'm using from O'Reilly's. For most of the scooter MS500 Shimmering Green: For the front fender and perhaps other things MS200 in Sparkling Silver: www.duplicolor.com/products/metalSpecksFor the ABS black parts MX100 Graphite Textured Metallic www.duplicolor.com/products/texturedMetallic/It has been adhering and sanding out very well.

Nice!!! Man, you dont miss one lil detail when it comes to storage and such. Reg would be the guy to ride with. Ever break down or need directions and hes got ya covered. Just tell everyone thats your "GPS" holder.
Thats gonna be a sweet fresh looking ride when your done!

I've created three other cubbyholes for tools, parts, etc. under the rear fairings. I like being self-sufficient and prepared as much as possible. I really need to get setup to remove my pulleys and replace the belt. My underseat stowage will be strictly for cargo or spare gasoline, hopefully. Gonna try out some Dr. Pulleys (5.5g) I have soon.

Those are some very creative ideas there Reg. I have one of those small 12v tire pumps here that I bought at Harbor Freight, great idea to keep it with you. I have a extra gas tank here that I have thought of seeing about mounting it for reserve. How is the scoot coming along?

I got some more prep and painting done today b4 it got too hot. Parts are curing in sun now. Bought some more expensive DupliColor too. Wal mart sells a very small air compressor now that would probably fit in my glove box w/o modification. I think this is it www.slime.com/product/911/Tire-Top-Off-(40020).html

"Heck yeah i do, lemmi unload my stuff and its ON buddy " It's a do-it-all scooter. It camps, shops, shuttles me to/from work, day tours and shows off pretty regularly too. :spin:

Not perfect but after wet sanding with 220>320>500 then rubbing out with Meguiar's ScratchX it is unbelievably slick for a rattle can job. The flash pix seems to wipe out the gloss and I am too lazy to find the camera instructions to learn how to turn off the flash.
