With your squish set closer to 1mm you might be ok with a bit lower otc?

Man can't seem to get rid of this horrible sputter rich at low throttle, Mmm any ideas? Once it hits above 8k it clears right up, I dunno it's a bit anyoing, I'm guessing it's this cylinder.? Oh my squshn is. 94 ATM is that OK for 93 octane not 94 lol

If that means you need to use fuel with higher octane, so be it. It aint a daily driver (i guess ). A tight squish gives you more detontation safety eventhough most of the times compression gets higher. You can mill out the head to lower compression. But try to stick to that tight squish! It makes the squishband and workings more efficient.

Thanks lucas yes it is a daily driver as well lol, OK so I will adjust the squish in a few days, but right now at what it is set at the thing is a rocket, when I tighten the squish it will have even more power! I just have to drain all my antifreeze and stuff now dangit. Oh well is what it is... Thanks guys video soon trying too figure a way mount my phone because I can't drive this thing with one hand! My main is still too big bit I will leave it rich untill I break it in..I'd say a #95 main will be the ticket...

a little bit of a rich stumble or miss when cold and not up to temp is fine, that also tells you its not ready and warmed up yet? as it warms up it should lean out some and not be as noticable after a lap around the block, kinda like setting the air-fuel mix after its warmed up i cant speak from exp with this cylinder but 2-strokes in general that have a powerband up there like the Big Evo won't like to run smooth at a low rpm @ 1/8 - 1/4 throttle. it will like load and lots of throttle!!! get a bunch of new spark plugs and run it, then cut the threads off and do "proper plug chops" at several throttle positions. a lean spot any where could well you know... a water cooled cyl can run leaner than a air cooled just always use "high quality" oil!

You gotta update your sig! Stock ignition? If so you really need to update! These OEM boxes are flat-liners with no real curve in the map... You run that big evo into the 11,12-14,000RPM range (if it will even rev that high) and its gonna probably hurt it if you hold it for any amount of time when it never pulls enough timing out.
That being said, FUCK man i bet that thing would be fun fun with the right tune!

Well- I just blew it up!! It just shut organic off 11k and I have no compression, bet I burned a hole in the piston. I'll be ordering a new one in a min... Had to push it to work luckily one wasn't to far Away man I'm so pissed
