Lots of twists and turns there. Looks like a fun area to ride.

birdman you remember! ryan_ottlol aeroxbud would disagree with you The new throttle wire was 150cm my old one was 175cm so 10 inch shorter which is perfect. Need to buy 2-3 more of those.

Hi Jog buddies My care package from Scooter Attack arrived today. Inside is a Box With Yasuni on it, Malossi belt, Malossi multi vary, Stage6 roller kit and Polini clutch spring set Inside the Yasuni Box is the Z pipe kit Now i have to take a deep breath and not rush these parts onto the scoot. I am still waiting on a Tachometer from Aliexpress so i don't want to just start throwing parts on with out some sort of indication of improvement. My plan of attack is Put tacho on when it arrives and do some base line tests. Then put the new belt on and test Derestrict the exhaust which has 2 restriction from what i have read on line. Remove current exhaust and emissions crap. Up jet main in the TK14 by 10%. It should have a 70 in it and i only have 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100. So 80 to start. How many plugs should i have on hand to do plug chops. Do you use 1 for the whole process or 1 for every jet change. I also have a turbo filter i can put into the stock air box either during the exhaust change or after. I am thinking if the jetting is a little rich at 80 MJ i can do the snorkel removal. Once the above is running smooth i will start to play with the CVT Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys

Thanks Guys I'd say buy more jets to fill in some gaps, I can highly recommend John at Speed Up on Aliexpress for decent jets for a good price. You will want several plugs, one for each jet change would be ideal, I have one plug that I use for warming up and test rides etc, if it feels close enough to test I will install a fresh plug to chop then change back to the old plug to get home etc. You will likely want to start tuning the CVT a bit sooner than you are planning, otherwise you may never even get the RPM high enough to get into your new pipes powerband!

Man, what a beauty she is. The pipe I mean. I always use one spark plug for a couple runs. But it really depends on the results. If too lean it will barely change color if too rich try to clean the spark plug with a soft wire brush see if you can get the burned stuff off it. Then when I think I got the right setup driving-wise I put in a clean, new plug and go for another longer test run and confirm the color. birdmanI have 3 more videos. 2 with my stock Jog and one more with my red Jog when going to work in the morning. The camera view angle was not so good, too low. But I will try to upload them so that you can see the area again. Btw. where is spaz12 actually? Haven't seen him for a few days.

Hi Thanks for that quick reply. I understand that the exhaust performance will be dictated by the roller weights well. Just for tuning the carb is there a chance i could leave the belt off and rev the engine while stationary. Or leave the belt on and put the rear wheel on a set of rollers like a bicycle training thing or a electrical cable spool. Of course i would run a fan blowing into the motor to keep it cool. What fill i jet would you say. i.e.. between 75 and 85 or 80 and 90. only changes from stock will be Posh CDI, Yasuni Z pipe and new Turbo air filter. Thanks

Start high and tune down. I'd start with the 90, I think I ended up with an 88 running a stock filter and Next-R pipe. BUT my Suzuki seems to really love big jets compaired to what most people run in Jogs so you'll likely end up with a smaller main than I did.

Yesterday I did some carb tuning and I think I hit the sweet spot. 40/95 is my current setting. Mixture screw 1.5 turns out. Didn't check the plug yet but from hearing I can tell that she drives either spot on or is a tiny bit rich. CHT looks good thus far not any different then I had with the 19mm carb. Also checked the new throttle wire to see if it gets damaged but all seems to be good. Next would be, Polini Evo variator install and tuning now that I have a bunch of rollers it should be way easier.

Here my spark plug. I would say it looks good. Put in a brand new one today and will see how it looks in a few days.

Looks very good! But you need to chop off the threads and look at the mixture ring to be completely sure.
