I was able to round up these parts locally between Home Depot and an Auto Parts Store to put together a nice leak-down tester without having to wait on ordered parts... Of course, it's hard to say whether or not this stuff would be available in Japan! 49ccscoot.proboards.com/thread/506/make-2t-leak-tester-ways

Soon I will have to place another order and I need again some info from you guys. Thinking about getting a new clutch from Polini. Need to know what you guys think about these - Speed Clutch 2G (2 shoe) 105mm - Speed Clutch 3G 105mm - Speed Clutch 3G for Race 105mm Does anyone have any experience with those clutches? Lucass2TYou use the larger BWS clutch assembly right? 122mm ? Can you run it with a 105mm clutch and clutch bell or do you need to upgrade to 107mm?

You use the larger BWS clutch assembly right? 122mm ? Can you run it with a 105mm clutch and clutch bell or do you need to upgrade to 107mm? Not specificly BWS...just an aftermarket minarelli 122mm overrange torquedriver and a cheap Malossi delta clutch replica. I have no experience with the Polini 2 or 3 shoe clutches, but I rarely see or read about them. For me those wouldn't be my first choice. I'd rather go with a real Malossi delta clutch or stage 6 racing clutch.

I'm with Pig on the HIT clutch.
As for the Polini clutches; believe it, or not, the 2G is actually better than the 3G. I don't know about the race version, but the regular 3G sucks.
I'd also get a 107 before a 105 even if it means I have to buy a new bell too.

The HiT clutch might be good but damn $200+ !? I just need something better than my stock Yamaha 2 shoe clutch. I also would like to keep the 105mm size because my Jog has a G-Lock function that locks the clutch bell and therefore the rear wheel. I would like to keep using that security feature but it works only with the stock 105mm clutch bell.

I am have ran both the stock 2 shoe and 3 shoe. Obviously the 3 shoe is better and I think it may have shown up with my Polaris/minarelli Atv case. I ditched my mhr la furiosa set up on my 96 cc and went back with my hoca variatior and it pulls so much better at all speeds. I tuned and tuned the mhr and just couldn't get it to run like the stock clutch(3shoe). I have noticed the difference on launch when I nail it I wheelie but I feel the 2 shoe slipping, like if you hit a patch of gravel in the road. It's just not as responsive. The stock 3 shoe and some heavier springs your set. I might, might...have a 3 shoe with bell you can have if you pay freight. Don't know if be worth it for you.

LoL Unfortunately mine is far away from such power. To be honest even if I had that kind of power I wouldn't have the balls to lift the front, to scared to drop and damage the scooter.
On my search for a clutch I often read that there are clutch bells for 2 shoe and clutch bells for 3 shoe clutches. What is the difference? They all look the same to me.

I would like to work with the Dr Hit clutch, but the price is steep! I am really into the S6 clutches ATM. For the price they are hard to beat, and can be dialed in to your liking.

Other than maybe the material or how they are made, they are the same and don't care if you use 2 or 3 shoes.
