You could always plasti dip them. Super easy to remove if you want to change colors. Masking? who needs masking?

Does anyone currently drives a red scooter with white wheels?
If yes, can you please post an image of it?
Thanks

I Googled (a verb now) 'red scooter' and out of 300 million scooters, one had white wheels. You would have yourself one of those rare scoots

Just mount them in white and see how like it for a few weeks or so. If you don't like it then paint.. My personal opinion, I think they'll look great on either scooter... <<<<< red and white is not such a bad combo.

ryan_ott Ryan, I need to ask you something about the HIT clutch. What color clutch springs do you use and at what rpms does your clutch engage? What color pillow springs do you have inside? And how do you know when the pillow is engaged? I currently use the blue clutch springs (most weakest on the list) and the clutch engages around 5000-5500 rpms on a flat ground, slowly opening the throttle. And I use the red pillow springs which are the second strongest according to the list in the manual. And wouldn't it be better to have lighter/weaker pillow springs for more stronger and quicker grip? In my HIT clutch manual it says spring: none is the strongest kg which cannot be true since I have green pillow springs that say 9.2kg and none should be the weakest and therefore the most instant grip right? Very confusing all this pillow stuff... Here something funny that I found in the troubleshooting section of the manual. "Powerful take off but unable to jump into the air" another one Engine power too weak -> Solution: tune cylinder

I'll double check what springs I'm using when I get home. I have pictures with all different springs so I don't know which is current. On the elite I have blue pillow and red main springs with a white Polini contra which gives me 65-6800rpm and it grabs and goes. The Keeway is setup a bit softer. Yellow main and blue pillows. That one doesn't get moving till 7k cause of the pipe anyway. A lighter or no pillow spring will cause a quicker lock up. It you want alittle of a slip install a medium strength or higher pillow spring. Because of the design of these clutches they don't slip much like regular clutches. So you need to tune it in if you want it. I'll edit this when I get home.

I think you should go with heavier clutch springs so that it engages later, like Ryans. The C16 doesn't do power that low. Especially not with that cylinder.

I'm using S6 medium springs in mine. The ones that came with HIT weren't stiff enough. These engage at 7500-8000rpm
