Thanks ryan_ottAround 7k engagement would be good for my setup. How do you know when the pillows are engaged? Do you feel something during driving?

The pillow springs don't engage they delay the lock up. See pics. The mechanism pushes the clutch pads against the bell to lock in. They make for a softer engagement. So you don't "jump into air" If the clutch is set too low or the pillow is too soft you will get some chatter. It's all personal preference. Set yours like mine and see how you like it. You may need to go the next tighter on the main spring for your pipe.

Once again I went out in this weather and swapped the clutch and pillow springs. The lightest pillow springs are the purple ones but they didn't come with it so I went one higher which would be blue so one step down from my previous setup. Clutch springs I went from blue to yellow which is 2 steps up. Later I'll go for a test drive and we'll see how they perform. spaz12Still working on the photoshop thing. Got one side done. Now working on the other side. I'll post pics asap.

Just came back from the test drive. I am still trying to understand what exactly happened at what rpms. I installed the yellow springs and I think the clutch engages around 6000-6200 rpms. So I went 2 steps up and get 5000-5500 to 6000-6200 rpms. Very small step isn't it? I am sure I could easily install the green springs which are the strongest and I would get something like 7000rpms which would be better but not perfect yet. Best would be 7500 rpms. Guess I'll have to try the green springs once and if that is not enough I need to get some stiffer springs like PIG did.
Regarding the pillows, I think I know how it feels now when they engage or not. They grab quite early compare to the previous setup. I got 11120 max rpms which is a bit lower compare to my previous 11580 rpms not sure if this has anything to do with the pillows though. I liked the previous setup it kinda revved higher, so I will probably go back to the red pillow springs in combination with the green clutch springs.

spaz12 Here the images one with the current 3 spoke flat black steel wheels and one with the 5 spoke white aluminum wheels. I think best is you click and open each set of images and then you can zap forth and back between the images by clicking on the browser tabs top of the screen to see the difference. Attention: super large size! 1920x1080 Personally, I like the wheels black.

Thanks Raizer for filling in the blank space and color the wheels. I still think that black is the best option for my red Jog. I need to get the wheels cleaned and then put new Michelin S1 tires on it then I'll paint them flat black.

Again swapped the clutch springs and I need to let out something first. How the F&*% do you guys remove and install those goddamn springs? I had the blue ones installed first, then swapped to yellow and to get those blue springs out was not really easy but it worked. Today I needed to remove those yellow springs and install the stiffest, green ones. Only to remove the yellow ones (19kg) I broke 3 picking tools. Then to install the green springs (39kg) I broke my last, thick iron pick! WTF? I don't have pliers that open and could spread the springs and besides I don't think that pliers could get under the spring to spread and lift them out.
Anyways, finally got the greens installed and went for a drive. Now the clutch engages at around 6600-7000rpms and those are the stiffest springs that came with the HIT package. Now I know why PIG needed to install Stage6 springs to get the desired rpms. The steps between the clutch springs are way too small. Let's check again;
Blue springs (12kg) (weakest) Engagement at: 5000-5500rpms Black springs (14kg) Engagement at: unknown Yellow springs (19kg) Engagement at: 6000-6200rpms Red springs (24kg) Engagement at: unknown Purple springs (31kg) Engagement at: unknown Green springs (39kg) Engagement at: 6600-7000rpms
So what the hell are the red and purple springs for? No need to adjust in between.
I also removed the pillow springs and the clutch bites really hard. Instant grip which is nice for power take offs but a bit of a pain to get through regular traffic and speed. So I will install the red pillow springs again to get a smoother transition for daily use. And one more thing I know for sure is I won't remove those green springs, EVER! unless there is some sort of miracle tool that can remove/install springs.
Worst case, I get me a Polini G2 or Stage6 clutch, with both clutches you don't need any force to install or remove springs since you can just reduce the gap on the S6 or remove the nut on the Polini and just drop in the new spring.

How the FUCK do you guys remove and install those goddamn springs? Put the clutch in a vice in a way the clutch material doesn't get damaged (don't stap it down too hard). And I use this tool to pull the springs out of their seats.
