So I just bought a 50mm bbk, 40mm stroker crank, 20mm carb, 49/17 gears, a9 cam, blue racing cdi, racing coil and ngk spark plug all from scooterstogo. Here is the links m.ebay.com/itm/171646136233?_mwBanner=1 , m.ebay.com/itm/171646130643?txnId=1347359879007 . They offer 10% off for all 49ccscoot members in total I paid $280 fantastic deal imo thanks STG! I also plan on getting some simple things like a tuning jet kit and a Speedo/tach. I will probably leave the stock clutch for now but put some new springs in it. I will also get a DLH variator it comes with 3 each of 5, 7 and 9 gram rollers and 1000rpm clutch springs on eBay for $30 any reviews on that? And I am going to get a Hoca premium gasket set since the 50mm bbk doesn't come with any. The Hoca kit is $15 from partsforscooters and the jet kit is from them as well 10 jets for $16. And I think I am going to stick with the stock air box because I want it to look as stock as possible. Also does anyone know of a good tool for splitting the crankcase for a decent price? Also what other tools would I need for the whole job? I have an impact wrench and feeler gauges already.

I think the DLH should work a little better than stock. Hard to argue with it for the cost. You may need to do more fine tuning to really dial it in than what you can do with the included weights and set of clutch springs, but at least it's enough combined with your stock rollers to let you figure out where you'll wanna be for weight.
The crankcase assembly/disassembly shouldn't require many tools. A heat gun or propane torch will help as well as some freeze spray or a freezer. Once you have it down to the cases and crank and the rest is off apply some heat to the cases near the bearings and they should separate pretty easy. For reassembly either stick the crank in the freezer overnight (I like to spray a little WD40 on and put it in a ziploc) or use freeze spray on it just before install. Heat the cases with a heat gun or propane torch up around 250F or so. The crank should drop right into each side without using force.

I was thinking about getting the roller kit from enviromoto they still have it on closeout and I have a propane torch already should I invest in a gear puller for doing the final drive gear and here is a pic from my ride home don't know why photobucket flipped it

If you're gonna do mods to your ride, you are going to spend a lot of time on your knees.

I think fl is a very popular state for scoots biased on their very lax laws on 49cc and this weather :-)

Getting some before the bbk data not trying for a max speed in this just my ride to work average speed is a huge draw back especially since the roads I ride are no slower then 40

13ft-lb for the cylinder stud nuts, 8ft-lb for the side bolts. More specs in a service manual.
