Well every year around this time as the riding gets limited and Christmas approaches i start looking for gifts for my scoot. Last year the Triton got a BBK, Transmission tuning and a few months later a Leo Vince pipe. (With lots of guidance from the 49cc family) This year the Draggon in gonna get the christmas love. The problem is i can't find anyone promoting sport products for a Kymco S8 150. So the question is are there any "tuners" on here that know of sources for parts or "equivalents" that will work on this scoot? I want to start with the pipe this time and then the BBK after that. First pipe options i found are based on a slip on design. But i'm assuming the header on the S8 is too small and part of the free flow problem. I'm going to try to compare the header today with the sport pipe on my buddies Black Jack. S8 header.

I would think you'd want something closer to 1" I.D. ideally for a 150 header.
Free flow filters are pretty much unversal if you measure the OD of your carb's mouth and get a filter with an ID to match. Another option would be to replace the stock element with UNI foam sheet or equivalent. Of course you'll need to upjet and adjust to compensate.
As I've said before, I dunno anything about your scoot. Just how similar is the Kymco to a 150cc GY6 or GY6-B? If no parts are out there, you might be able to find a larger piston and have the cylinder bored. That would take a lot of measuring to be sure the right piston is chosen, unless you get lucky and find something to fit. Porting and port matching can give you an improvement. If you are willing to do the checks for clearances you could consider milling the head as well to bump up compression. All of that of course is way harder than a bolt on kit, so it really depends what you can find out about the scoot and how involved you are willing to get.

Thanks i missed that one some how. I just wish there was more on it. Thanks Brent. Didn't get to measure the Black Jack pipe but that may give me some direction as well.

Heck of a price tag for a 4T exhaust. www.scootertronics.com/gy6nhky150pe.htmlI see Jeremy has the same pipe. With the "49ccScoot" 10% discount it would be $292.50 shipped, compared to $349 @ Scootertronics. Jeremy gives a lot better service too, from my experience. I'd wanna know that it fit, since it doesn't say it's for your exact model. Maybe Jeremy could tell you for sure. enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/6078076/nhrc-kymco-bet-win-150-carbonIf you decide not to go that way. Another route for choosing the header size might be to measure your exhaust port and get soemthing to match up with that or a little larger. I looked up specs for GY6 heads, dunno if the Kymco is any different, but it looks like they tend to be about 23mm so real close to 1".

I like that one too. Two Brothers has a great name amongst other two-wheelers as well, so I don't think you'd be disappointed quality-wise.

Thanks so much guys. I had found those two for the "bet & win" but really wanted a two-brothers carbon fiber system. Don't know why i didn't find it in my searches but stepthrutuner had my back!
I'm pumped. Will talk to my guy in the morning and get things rolling.
Of course i'll keep you posted.
The Dragon is going to be so excited. ;D

Wow! I doubt you will regret your purchase decision. That is a great look. If you don't mind, please do before/after vids w/sound so we can hear the difference. Can't wait for a road test report! (a couple of before and after timed acceleration runs or time-to-distance runs like Brent recently did would be interesting too) Do you have 1k on the beast yet?
PS
You and your mechanic will probably need to do a little upjetting with that freer-flowing exhaust. Enjoy!

Will do. As with the last scoot i have started plotting out specific speeds on hills and flats etc. I'll also do some sound recordings for comparison.
Planing on removing some restrictions on the intake of the stock air box and re-jetting for starters. Then free-flow after that if needed.
Yes i've had it for a little over 3 months so got just over 2500 miles on it.
