I'm with you on the bar ends. I loved the sleek black ones i had on the Triton but they were too low to really see well. So i went with this compromise. I'll see if the chrome bugs me enough to paint later on.

2strokd - this is not the parts bike. It's the first one i bought that was already in great shape.
The parts bike is "Now Appearing" in the Bobber thread.
So many rides, so little time! LOL

Hard to believe it's only been 3 weeks since i picked her up. Even with the cold, snow and time in the shop getting checked out and updated i have managed to get a little over 300 miles on.
Not a lot of time and ugly wether for shooting but i have gotten a first video together.
Sorry bout the music. My POV camera mic is getting unusable.

Sounds good. I was expecting a more Harley-ish sound, but pleased not to hear it. lol

Not "Harley" at all. The power really kicks in from 6 - 8K. Sound familiar? So far i'm still "short shifting" a good bit. A 650 at 8K is very intimidating.

Thanks. I'm amazed how good that 30 year old motor is. Extremely smooth. 3rd to 4th to 5th i can shift no clutch if i'm not careful. Of course thats probably because i'm not hitting it very hard. I'll get there. 300 miles is still very young on such a big jump.

Ha it was a bit nippy. Glad i have the cold riding thing sorted out. Now i just get nervous about cold tires on cold pavement at speed. And "black ice".
Come on summer!!!
