I finally finally pulled the triggger and purchased a jog 90 lcase from scrappydogs!! I also ordered th hoca 54mm bbk off eBay same time. Days later the bbk arrived. The bbk turned out to be a Charmo 54mm, which isn't a problem. Still waiting for the jog 90 is killing me . Everyday I checked scrappy dog web site and it still says that my order is "processing" . Heh

Same thing happened to me. If I remember correctly it was atleast a month before I received mine. But mine was back ordered. You've already got the 54mm cylinder. Now all you need is a 21mm Dellorto carb, Hoca variator, and either a Tecnigas next-r or a peace pipe. And you'll have a 60+ mph daily driver all day with globs of torque.

I called scrappys and I was informed that they are out of stock and trying "to get a line on these motors" lol. And some things like they are having issues at customs. I'm happy they just were straight up about it " it's gonna be a while ".

As for the upgrades.. I already have a V8 exhaust, 21dell clone with genuine dell internals from treats 🤓. Just need a variator and face drive.

FYI: if you're considering to purchase a jog 90 from scrappy dogs, call to confirm if they have it in stock; otherwise be prepared to wait a while for it. If they do have it in stock, DONT THINK BOUT IT.. JUST BUY IT! I'm still waiting for my jog90 lcsae that I purchased from mid-June. I received an email from scrappys saying 4-5 more weeks till they receive a shipment . So probably 6-8 weeks on my side.

If I remember correctly I waited close to 3 months for my Scrappydog 90 longcase. Could have had something to do with my time of purchase. Waited for the motor to pass threw customs also. I think I even called Scrappydog scooters a couple of times in regards to wait time. But, the jog90 is a strong reliable motor. Very torquey down low and uphill. Well worth the wait.

Heh HOCA and Charmo are the same thing, just food for thought. There are still some parts in our catalog that haven't switched from HOCA (As HOCA Taiwan has ceased operations) to Charmo or SSP-G yet in our marketing, so unfortunately there are a few stragglers out there on the market. Also, way cool that Scrappy is getting a 90 for you. I can't get them at all anymore. Matt

I ordered a 90 shortcase from them 2 or 3 years ago.. Mine came fast because they said it was a return and they had it sitting on the shelf. Now its just sitting on my shelf waiting for me to use it on a future project

Scrappy issued me a full refund, claiming they’re unable to find a supplier. After all the delays and excuses I don’t blame scrappys in my eyes they honestly tried . Damn the EPA!!! Beat for me to just take my jog50 to get cut, stroked, and bbk’d at a scooter shop.
