SOLD! Let her go for 550 bux. I think it was the orange diamond in front that sold it haha. The buyer was a nice young gentleman who will be using for transportation at college. USF- er maybe it was SFU? Can't remember. Right off the bat I mentioned to them that my only complaint with the scoot is that it's a little slow for my taste lol. Got that out of the way right off the bat hehe. I think the kids dad actually liked hearing that. Time to see what the scooter gods have in store for the next one! See ya on the 'flip' side!

Thanks for all the kind words fellas! I really do appreciate the feedback! Well it looks like I've identified the next flip! Let me elaborate- I didn't say I've found the next flip because, well, I didn't. A fellow forum member did! I really really gotta give a big shout out and many thanks to Florida Antique for pointing out my next flip scoot for me! Thank you so much Andy! I've been coming up a little dry on the CL searches- y'all know I often get ants-in-the-pants when I sell a scoot and want to find the next diamond in the rough and often have the next scoot the same or next day after a sale. You can imagine my surprise and delight when F.A. messaged me and pointed out this scoot to me. It's a little further away than I normally go so it was off my radar. I just want to elaborate just how thankful and impressed I am with F.A. for really "going the extra mile." He had already talked to the seller and even took the time to transfer and forward me pics that he had gotten since the CL ad didn't have any. (I hate that!) So, I just got off the phone with the seller and our schedules don't really match up and it seems the earliest I'll be able to make the 4 hr. round trip and scoop up the scoot is Friday. I'm really excited about this one! After chatting with the seller he did offer to hold the scoot for me until the weekend, but just to be safe I'm going to forego giving details of the ad and the deal until I have the title safely in my possession! >>>>>Ok, while typing this out I literally just took a minute to pause and re call the seller again just now lol. I re-iterated that I 100% want the scooter and it was nice of him to offer to hold it for me until this weekend and told him that I'd be really bummed if he ended up selling the scoot to someone else before then. I told him I know it'd be tempting if someone said they'd be there in 10 minutes to just take the cash and blow me off haha. I explained that I was real excited to find a nice retro two stroke like for my next project and don't mind at all that it needs a new cylinder- by the way Florida Antique., he did tell me also that it needed a "cylinder jug rebuild stick" lol. He said he had no idea what that meant and I told him he probably meant a "cylinder rebuild kit." - Just thought that was kinda funny. So yeah, I hammered it into his head that I'm the new owner of this scoot! hehe- gotta do what ya gotta do!<<<<<<< As you can see I'm excited to get my hands on this next flip! It's a nice one! Too bad I don't have the extra cash right now to keep and build it. Put it this way- the thought has already crossed my mind about dropping my 96cc into this scoot and keeping it and throwing a 49cc back into my Roketa AIR and selling that instead. I guess you never know what will happen- I may not like this scoot in person that much and fall out of intruige with it, or hey I just may fall in love with it and be sporting a retro as my "keeper" and flipping the AIR! We Shall see!!!! Muwahahhahaha

Yeah Niz is just lucky I have a garage full of Aero 125 right now as I am parting it out or else he would be reading my flip thread! As it is, it was too nice of a deal to let some kid snatch it up and trash it thinking it was some POS Chinese scoot. I figured that if I couldn't handle it right now, I knew someone who could. Can't wait to see that build thread.

Well I guess if something seems too good to be true it must be eh? I made the four hour round trip tonight and got the scoot. After asking multiple times over the phone and being assured there was a title for this scoot- there wasn't. The seller had a whole folder full of paperwork with everything from the Manufacturer Certificate of Origin to the original sales receipt to registration paperwork and finally a 'Application for Title' receipt, but no title. Somebody got a title for it at some point... I didn't want to just leave empty handed after making such a long trip so I just offered the guy $150 and he took it and I loaded it up. The scooter is 2t Malaguti Yesterday in great shape (apparently needs a new top end). I don't have a game plan as to what I'm gonna do here quite yet. I'll start a build thread for it....

Man what a bummer! I can't believe people in this state are so lackadaisical about vehicle titles. Niz, this one may be a candidate for a bonded title. You can probably get a bonded title for it for $100, put a top end on it and sell it for big bux. Either that or I think Katastroff will pay you for those whitewalls,
