Dropped the weights from 7.5 to 6 gram today. A lot more fun threw the cvt gearing. Still hitting a wall at 52mph. Have to play around with the tune some more. Tried AZ recorder with a gps overlay on a phone mount. Still to shaky to submit a speed yet. For being slapped together with parts on a budget. I'm kinda of proud how it came out.

Just ordered a moto force clutch from scoot tuning. Hopefully I can get this scoot to grab right into the beginning of the powerband more. Have to order 3 pack of springs for it still. Already have a set of 5 and 7 gram rollers on the way.

Clutch is still out of stock. 7-10 days. So I took Pigs advice and tried a lower roller weight. 4 gram roller weights came with the Hoca variator. So I said what the heck. Threw them in. Holy is this scooter a different animal. Total opposite of a stock variator with 4 gram weights. Instantly 9000 rpms. And that's with the 23 year old stock 2 shoe clutch. I can't wait to get the new clutch in there for better grip. I can truly say that a 70cc is bad . The Corsa is high reving and the Next-r is so torquey down low. It pulls hard all the way threw the powerband to 11,000 rpms. I can't decide which is better now my 90 or her 70cc. I'm leaning towards the 70cc. Shaky hand held video coming soon. Also had to re route the brake cable due to the increased length of the minarelli. Now if I can just squeeze some more top end out of her I'll be really impressed.

Nice solid build man! It would seem the 90 to make more usable power for everyday driving vs the excitement of the hit on the 70.i have a daily driver 90 hoca and i hope the 70 im building will smoke it. We will see, now we just need a friend to ride one with us so we can race

I don't think I can get one of them to ride a 70cc after doing 160 mph on there daily driver. But that's not stopping me from trying. It's too quick now for my girl to learn on. Mine has had an atv accident 15 years ago and might have p.t.s.d. Lol! And the way this thing is ripping. It's gonna be funny watching.... At first.

Not really into scooters....yet. its a different kind of ride, hard acceleration hugging the curbs on tight turns wondering if you will loose traction ect...even wheelies which neither of the 2 i currently have am i willing to practice wheelies on. But i will have a stock motor with a basket case roller,so might just make stunt scoot. We used to ride atvs also, here is a video that i have posted before. Yeah those atv's are bad ass. My little cousin. Well 300lb+ little cousin has a 450cc. Loves it. I've actually been working out of town here in Oregon by the coast and Dunes. Everybody's got those paddle wheels in the back. With some kind of Mo hawk wheel in the front to steer. 4 wheelers, dune buggies, and dirt bikes..... All day. Any way she is nowhere near stunt status. But I'd try it if I had a chance for sure.

We used to ride in the sand also. We live in dallas but there are sand dunes in wynoka Oklahoma called little Sahara. I had a yzf450 took it to the dunes. I have seen the dunes in pics by the Oregon coast and their beautiful,tress all around,sand hills up through the trees. Would be an awesome ride and sand is more forgiving. You can just carve through it on a bike like just cutting into it.

I just rode the scooter for close to 2 hours straight. 2 tanks of gas easily. I have named it..."Badzilla". Topped out at 11600 rpms. 340* cht WOT the whole ride . I was doing 9000 rpms uphill. "Badzilla" rocks. Contemplating buying a sj9000 just to document the ride.

Clutch finally came today. When I first made the order for the motoforce racing clutch it said 7-10 days out. 10 days go by and now the product listing says no longer in stock. Sent Scootertuning an e-mail in regards to re-stocking the motoforce. They replied stating that they weren't getting anymore motoforce racing clutchs and they wanted to know if I'd except a different branded but same design clutch as the motoforce. Long story short I received a kupplung evo racing clutch. And Ive got to say it's pretty nice quality. Didn't get any pics. Probably 1/3 of the weight of my original 2 shoe. Rain till Saturday. Videos coming soon.
