Thanks crazy guy. Still hasn't turned over. Compression is a little over a hundred. Sparking like a thunder storm. Getting gas to the carb. Suction on carb is a little iffy. It's not just sucking in but mostly in and a little out. Don't know if that's what a 2 stroke does but. Neighbor was concerned with that.. Anyway charging battery again. Give it a go tomorrow.

If there's a lot of pressure or fuel escaping out of the carb you may have reeds not sealing. Most of the time you would want to see closer to 150psi for a strong running engine.

Changed reeds yesterday. Neighbor said he felt air was escaping. He wanted to see more vacuum Into the intake. Haven't gave it a go yet. Still trying to dial in the main jet on the 100cc. But after the gym today I'll be amped up off my pre workout. So I'll give it another go.

After about a 150 kicks and some bearing grease inside the cvt for kickstarter wear and tear. The HONDAYAMA has started. Carbs garbage. Not only did I swap out electric chokes. The idle screw doesn't even raise the needle at all. And I had to screw the air mixture screw all the way out. Athenas to big for it as expected. But it started. Just have to order both stage 6 bbk and dellorto 21mm. Probably two weeks out.....from

Zip tied the harness up, mounted c.d.i, and coil. Lots of room to get my hands in there. Not to mention install the bbk without unbolting the engine.

I notice some pointy/sharp corners in the engine area. You may want to round those off. I personally seem to find any sharp corner left behind to run my hands and arms into when I work on scoots even if there is room to work.

Yeah everything is rough on it right now. Had to cut that little notch out of the engine mount just to get my fan shroud on. Speaking of fan shrouds...Was looking at your fan shroud scoop mod last night in the tech section. Excellent job by the way. That scoop came out clean. Real clean. It does make the bike look sick! Anyway, Thinking of doing the same thing on my 100cc. Was going to ask if there was any air drag issues that were noticeable. The benefits of a cooler engine probably out weigh any speed reduction. 70cc is on the back burner right now. Got about $400 in parts to order just waiting on work to pick up a little more than its back on. 70cc Stage 6 sport . Dellorto 21mm maybe 19mm carb. 13"rear shock. Etc.

I can't say I noticed any difference. I'm sure it makes some, about the same as sticking your toes off the floorboard I guess.

I Don't know if I can make one as good as Brent made but.... On another note I'm looking for a silk screener to make me a long sleeve or a t-shirt with the 49ccscoot.com logo from the top of the forum page. And I like the red white and blue slanted scooter symbol from the nasra. So I go to the usascooterracing.com and on top of there page is the scoot that Jareebs races with the sticker I like. Wonder if he knows he's on the top of there website. I think I'll ask him

Explains alot. Bottom piston ring snapped on old engine. Can't find the other half of the ring. Might be a good time to learn how to port and trench. Anybody know a good tutorial on splitting cases. Can't see any pieces in there. But...
