Thanks spaz. Didn't even know they had a liquidation section. Some decent pricing there. The polini variator for $50 is tempting.... But I didn't see any crank bearings. Might pick up a new 3 shoe clutch cause the original minarelli came with a 2 shoe and 2 springs just ain't cutting it. You probably already know, but just making sure, that the 3 shoe is 107mm and the 2 shoe is 105. It's that way on the Zuma's anyway. Scoot-tuning also has free shipping if you spend a 100. |

Thanks Spaz.... Athena hyper race just touched down today. Looks great. Still gotta order all bearings and seals. Cranks a 12mm, Corsa's a small 10mm so I think I'll order a stage 6 wrist pin reducer or a new polini piston.   |

Ordered new Corsa gasket set and Doppler bearings/seal kit(not pictured) Should be here early next week. Thanks to ryan_ott I'll have a new 12 to 10mm bearing reducer about the same time. Didn't have a pressure washer so I took the cases to a do it yourself car wash. Might do some light trench work since I have the cases apart.  |

Finished cleaning up the cases in the dishwasher. Came out nice. Left a bearing in the case so after I aired it out with the compressor I sprayed it with some WD-40. Still can't get the shock bushing out. Guess I'll have to torch that side.   |

I actually wanted a mkII for this build and eventually a C16. I came across an unbelievable deal on Craigslist a while back and a brand new corsa was one of the goodies in the package. So yeah I bought a corsa for a horizontal.

I was literally just reading your thread on 2SA a couple of minutes ago. Is that your Spree in your avatar? Yeah I'm either gonna cook it with the cases or torch around it. Be very careful if you heat the case. Aluminum gets easy to break at a surprisingly low temp, it kinda rips or tears. |

And it's still brand new, under 30 miles not a scratch on it. But we mind as well try and run it see what it'll do on a minarelli. |

If it's not to hot tomorrow I'll give it a go. Still have to pick up a 12mm polini piston for the crank so I have some time. |
